I brought this item for my wife, but when it came, my youngest son took it because it was so comfortable! The item also came with an sleeping mask and ear plugs.  Overall it is a wonderful thing for travelling.  If you travel a lot, I recommend it 100%.  If the item came with a carrying bag, it would be evn better!. Frequent flyer and an airline employee.

This is a really great travel pillow.  I have tried travel pillows a few times before and had pretty much concluded that they just did not work for me.  All of them would end up pushing my neck forward in a way that was uncomfortable.  I also really like how I can use the velcro to attach it to the outside of my bag.  I have noticed that my neck can get a little stiff while using this because it does cause your head to tilt to one side or the other.  If I swap sides at some point it usually is not too much of a problem.  It also seems to work best if I am sitting in a seat where I can use the armrests.  This keeps my shoulders from slumping too much and provides enough support for the neck pillow to work. While I would rate the comfort and use of this product as 'average', that is the standard for like products in my experience.

My daughter makes fun of how it looks, but I have napped very comfortably in it, and slept much longer than I meant to sitting up in a chair because my neck did not get sore and wake me!  Am looking forward to having it on my upcoming 5 hour plane ride!Have now returned from my trip.   Was great on the plane, and because it is kind of flat was easy to pack - it fit well along the curve of the side of my carry on bag.   My husband had the standard horse collar pillow, and it took up much more room.   No sore neck for me!.  The small size is also a plus and it is easy to clean.

Use on cross country flight, best nap ever on a plane.  I wish they would sell just the fleece layer so when it wears out I can swap it out.

This was given as a gift, I had to try it.  It was a little confusing to get on at first.  I like that the cover is washable and that you can velcro it to the handle of a bag so you do not have to fumble in you carry on to get it.  I will update the review if that happens as I travel frequently.

I have tried the typical donut looking neck support and could never get to sleep while flying.  I tried this support recently on a flight from LA to Australia 14 hours and found it to be very comfortable and effective.  I got several hours of sleep with the seat back reclined as far as it would which is not far.  I am quite happy with this product and would recommend it.  I look forward to having it on my next trip.

This pillow is perfect.  No complaints.  Very soft material.  Very comfortable and I can actually get higher quality in my sleep as I travel.

I must have tried a dozen different travel “pillows” over the years.  This is the best I have ever used for support even though it is not a pillow.  It is very easy to use, the fleece fabric is warm and soft, it does wrap around your neck which I love in a cold plane, it is fairly rigid and I used it a bit toward my chin to keep my head from flopping forward.  I could still use my Bose earphones and my wireless buds with no problem.  I wish I had discovered this years ago. The best thing about this is the light weight and the fact that it is not too bulky.

This is the only travel 'pillow' that has been comfortable enough for me to actually fall asleep on a plane.   I have tried a bunch of others and this is the only one that works for me.   It is not nearly as bulky as 'traditional' sleep pillows and it provides more upright support.  Highly recommend it.

I slept like a baby on all of my flights because of this pillow, and did not wake up with any neck cramps. I bought this pillow before a 3-month stint of traveling for work and it was the best purchase I could have made.  The best part is how compact it is -- I can easily fit it into my purse and it does not take up much room at all.  Would highly recommend!.  When they did not fit into a suitcase, we could snap them onto the handles.

I have been searching for the perfect travel pillow for quite some time,  I used a regular donuts type on an eight hour flight last year and swore it would be the last time!  I lugged that thing around and really could not use it - I am short, so maybe I have a short neck but I could never get comfy.  The pillows just felt like it pushed my neck forward and was very awkward.   If I turned it around I felt like I was choking.   The Trtl gently wraps around the neck and the wearer can adjust the tension as needed/desired.   The fleece material is very soft and is wide enough to cover your nose and mouth if desired.   The plastic insert holds my head up just like in the picture.  The items does not fold up perfectly flat but it is still more convenient and less bulky than the donuts type. Works on the plain and doubled back at home.

I used this as lumbar support, and it was absolutely perfect!!. It is super comfortable, I can sleep through the entire flight without a cramp in my neck! Also it is lightweight and easy to carry in your bag.

I have tried a number of neck supporters or travel pillows and between the seat headrest or just the thickness of the backs of some of them - I never use them past one trip.   The Trtl Pillow is an amazing design.   It is lightweight and easy to pack/travel with and it prevents the sleep nod that always wakes you up or gives you a crick in your neck.   Plus it keeps your neck clear of any drafts.  It completely supports my head, far better than U-pillows.

I tried the donut, but never figured out how to make it useful!  Maybe my neck is too long??  Done trying after I bought this.   Totally supportive in any direction.  A bit cumbersome to travel with due to the strong boning, but thats the reason its so comfortable to sleep on.   Love this pillow!!.  I can rest and wake up feeling refreshed, not cramped or with a headache from bending my neck too far.

I decided to purchase and try it out as I will be traveling internationally later this year.   I tested it out on a long road trip in the car and I was able to take a nap comfortably during the car ride.   My neck was not nearly as stiff as using the memory foam U-shaped travel pillows as they are not enough support.   My neck was only slightly stiff nothing that a little stretching out could not fix. I purchased this Trtl Pillow after reading multiple travel reviews on it as well as the  reviews on it.   I will say that the Trtl Pillow is by far WAY WAY WAY more supportive and comfortable on my neck than any other U-shaped travel pillows i have tried.   Highly recommend this Trtl Pillow for people who travel often.  Highly reccomended.

Great support if you want to sleep while traveling!.  With the Trtl, I actually felt that my head was being held up on its own, without having to use any of my neck muscles.

This is very handy and is small and does not take up a lot of room during travel.  The other neck pillows I have are so bulky.  This one is not bulky and yet does provide good support.  I highly recommend!.   Supported my neck well  I am a side sleeper , and toward the end of the flight I switched it around to the other side, and even front and back, and it did a good job of supporting my neck.

Smaller and easier to carry than neck support collars.   Plenty of support.  It was my first international flight and I have never been able to sleep much on airplanes so I was nervous.

I absolutely love it! I use it when I travel, car or plane, even while waiting for a connection flight, sitting down in the airport.  The support is on one side, but It is easy to slide it to the other side. The material is soft and keeps my neck warm, so I do not need another scarf especially during flights when there too much AC.  Helpful that it is washable and I love how it packs very small.

Worked great for traveling.  It is nice that it rolls up into a bag. I have a tough time getting comfortable on long plane rides.

I feel like neck pillows have come along way in the past several years.  I would always see these kind of like crappy flat looking ones people would wear at the airport.  And it was not until I had a busy weekend and wanted to actually sleep on a flight and buying this neck pillow was one of the best decisions I ever have made! It is soft yet supportive all at the same time and I slept like a baby on the uncomfortable window seat situation.  You will not regret this purchase!!. So convenient and compact! The pillow is super comfortable and kept my neck in the perfect position for my entire flight.

[UPDATE]After losing my pillow en route, they replaced mine! It arrived in time for my next flight and was awesome.  For once my head did not bob while I tried to catch a few Zs.  And no, I am not attaching to my bag anymore - gonna make sure it is inside the bag so it does not disappear on me again. —I attached the TRTL pillow to my bag.  It was there when I got on the first plane.  No clue if the pillow itself works since I did not get to try it.  The Velcro clearly was not strong enough to be jostled as I rushed between planes.  Disappointed.  It provides a lot more support without feeling bulky.

Can we all agree that trying to sleep in a plane is the absolute worst? And the U shaped neck pillows are not comfortable at all and leave you with a sore neck.  This thing seems to be the answer to my travel woes.  While I have not actually used it in a flight yet, I sat with it on the couch for about an hour and nearly fell asleep.  It held my head at just the right angle to feel relaxed but not get neck pain.  You can also adjust the amount of support by tightening or loosening the fabric, which is a super soft and comfortable fleece.  It is much more compact than a regular travel pillow so it is easy to pack away once I am off the plane or during a shorter connecting flight I might not want to use it for.  This is seriously a game changer, especially for over night or early morning flights.  I am really excited I found this before my 10 hour over night flight.  I definitely recommend it. I could not believe how much of an improvement this 'pillow' is to the standard horseshoe pillow.

I  take transatlantic flights several times per year.  Always wanted to bring a neck pillow but it would be just one more bulky thing to lug around.  This is such a great solution! Lightweight and I could just tie it to my suitcase handle.  I request aisle seats on the long flights which makes it hard to get comfortable to sleep and this made it possible for me to get some sleep on the flight!.  A little awkward to carry but so far has been secure wrapped around carry-on handle.

I have degenerating discs in my neck and have to travel a lot.  The other neck pillows are so bulky and do not really support my neck.  This does it! I have found that I use it even if not trying to sleep on long flights as it supports my neck well.  No more pain and numbness in my arms..

FIRST IMPRESSIONS:The cost was okay, to be honest.   I felt that this was on the costlier side, but then I remember one year when I did not bring any neck pillow and was forced to buy one at the airport that costed $30. .   Yeah.   It was not even that great of a pillow, sadly.   With that in mind, I was willing to dish out the money for something that did work.   So, I gave the Trtl a try, seeing how it had my number 1 concern addressed, which was whether it would give my neck any crinks, pain, or aches.   The other feature I liked was that it was like a scarf.   It did not look ridiculous like a plushy toilet seat, if you know what I mean  imagine what extraterrestrials would think of us when they see a fat toilet seat wrapped around our neck! .   Looks aside, I only cared about the comfort, that is, whether it would keep my neck from pain. When I received this, I noticed how touchably soft the fleece-like cloth was.   Next thing was how flimsy the plastic inside felt.   It is hard to imagine it could support the weight of anyone's head.   Finally, I was a little concerned about the velcro.   Having a dog, I know velcros tend to wear out really fast as it latches on to just about everything and wear the velcro down.   The Trtl velcro, however, only latches on to certain types of fabric - which is really good!  I tried latching it on to my jacket, my hair, my pet, and some of my clothes.   I am happy to say that it only latched on to one of my extremely cottony shirt that I do not even wear.   Everything else  including the Trtl fabric  was NOT affected at all.   Super plus there!It is also machine-washable.   Right out of the bag, this thing really stunk of factory-plastic.   I washed it immediately  after taking out the plastic, of course .   On a side note about washing the Trtl, it is best to test the Velcro on the clothes you will wash it with.   If the Velcro does not stick to the clothes, you can wash the Trtl with those clothes.   Otherwise, wash it separately just to be safe.   The last thing you want is to wear the Trtl's Velcro down to unusable condition.   Of course, remember to take the plastic out before washing the Trtl, because the plastic is not machine-washable and you will damage it. At first, putting on the Trtl was awkward.   It was springy, like my head was going to snap the plastic head-support.   The shoulder-support was uncomfortable.   I am not saying that it is really difficult to get it JUST RIGHT, but you will still have to sort of move it around and adjust it to get it comfortable enough for you.   It is a totally workable situation since everybody's head-tilt comfort is a little different. Also, my hair is short-ish.   It goes down to the middle of my neck.   There was no way to fix my hair to make it look right.   I either looked like a pinhead with my hair tucked underneath the Trtl wrap, or I look like a wild mushroom with my hair on top of the Trtl.   Eventually, after moving around, my hair naturally fell around the Trtl like it would with a scarf.   Relieved.  Lol. PUTTING IT TO THE TEST ON THE FLIGHTS:I took a sleeping pill the first thing I got on.   My entire flight, including round trip, totaled about 40 hours  and 6 flights .   I slept for 10 hours straight on the first flight with the Trtl on the entire time.   I woke up in the middle of the flight to switch the neck-holder from one side to the other.   I noticed no pain at all!  I was too tired at that point to be amazed, but I remember thinking groggily how thankful I was that I got the Trtl.   The Trtl put me right back to sleep.   Sleeping the entire flight was a surprise for me.   Even on sleeping pills, I get maybe 6 hours max out of it.   Then I had be up watching movies the rest of the time.   Eating meals in between, of course.   With the Trtl, I was so comfortable, it was like I was sleeping in my own bed.   So, imagine waking up and you are at your destination like you were instantly transported there.   Ah, no feeling like it…While my plane was not smelly  this time , I had some smelly people  strong B/O  riding with me on the plane.   So it was really good that I can choose to cover my mouth and even my nose with the Trtl.   You do not have to, but you could if you wanted to.   It is great as a drool-guard too.   Just saying lol!The Trtl truly does the work that it says it does.   It holds up my head just right, relieving stress, strain, and pain to my spine and muscles in my body.   I also do not have to worry about nodding off side to side, which I absolutely hate.   I did not even notice the shoulder support resting on my shoulder eventually.   The shoulder support just snuggly sits and supports my head. One thing I did not like was that it was very uncomfortable to place ear buds in  forget about earphones .   I can only fit one ear bud into the opposite ear that did not have the Trtl neck-holder in place. The Trtl does make you so dang hot and toasty though.   It was not completely the Trtl fault, because our airplane was really hot.   I saw people fanning themselves and taking their socks off!  Usually, it is the other way around on long-distance flights; people usually have to put an extra pair of clothes and socks on because the plane gets so cold.   At one point on one of my return flight, it got so hot, I just could not bare the Trtl on any longer and took it off.   For the next 2 hours, I stared in agony because I could not sleep.   That was when I realized just how fast the Trtl has been putting me to sleep AND keeping me asleep.   The sleeping pill may have done 50% of the job, but the other 50% was the Trtl!  So as soon as my body cooled down, I put the Trtl back on and instantly fell back asleep. Whenever it was time to get off the plane, I took the Trtl off, stuffed it very roughly into my stuffed backpack and hauled my ass out of the plane in a real hurry to beat the rush.   It was not until I was walking in the connectors that I realized that I did not have any shoulder or neck cramps at all.   Not even a hint of it.   Even my butt did not hurt from sitting the entire 10-14 hours, which is surprising.   I remember when I flew to China, my whole family would be complaining of aches and pain everywhere, including our butts.   Well, I still can not explain the lack of butt pain this time, but after 6 flights, I truly believe the Trtl helped with that.   Maybe the difference is really just posture, and Trtl does help keep your body's posture in quite a good position to keep you from experiencing strain to your body. The Trtl is small and light-weight, but it does not fold flat.   I was really rough with the Trtl when I stuff it in my backpack, but it is been fine this whole time.   So, while it does not fold flat, I feel like it is really durable even though it is not very convenient to carry around. One surprising side effect of staying asleep on long flights was that it shortened my recovery time from jet lag by a whole lot!  Literally, I was sleeping and waking up the very next day in Singapore like I had already been there for 3 days.   Well, I wish I could say there was absolutely no jet lag.   There was, but it was really shortened. During this trip, I flew 40 total hours and sat on 6 planes. I originally purchased this to travel to Singapore and Tokyo, Japan during November.   Each time, I have become more and more reliant on the Trtl.   During one of the flights, there were open seats, so people were taking them to sit or lie down more comfortably.   Me – I was absolutely comfortable where I was, squished between 2 other people.   I did not want to move at all.   Why?  Because with the Trtl, I felt like I was in the perfect seat already.   Comfort means everything to me.   So, while other times, I would have jumped at the chance of bigger seats or seat upgrades, I did not want any of that this time.   I actually felt so proud of my Trtl purchase at one point because it made me feel like a million bucks.   I am serious.   When you have to fly this much, comfort is EVERYTHING, and the Trtl gave exactly that to me. PUTTING IT TO THE TEST ON THE BUS RIDES:Tokyo, Japan in November is really cold.   I thought I was going to freeze, so it was perfect to carry the Trtl with me for the long tour bus ride to Mt.  Fuji.   It kept me real nice and warm, especially since it can cover my mouth and nose if I wanted it to.   Coupled with sunglasses, you could not even see who I was.  lol.   I loved it. SINGAPORE:If you have ever been to a country like Singapore, you know they only have one season: hot and humid.   I will not even call it summer, because that is just an insult.   Singapore is not the place to wear a Trtl.   It is way too hot for that. MY FINAL THOUGHTS:The Trtl could be my best purchase I have made for travel.   Was it necessary?  The answer before I ever met a Trtl was a big NO.   Now, it is a humongous YES, especially on long flights.   If there is one thing I learned in my life from years of experience, it is to be good to yourself and your body.   This Trtl had kept my body from the aches and strains that used to always accompany long flights. I really want to get another one as a gift for someone else, just to share how amazing this product is.   However, at the price, I can not say that I will get this for anyone else unless it is absolutely necessary. Due to how this Trtl keeps me asleep, I am really excited to plan my next long flight.   I used to dread traveling because of how long the flight can be as well as how awful the jet lag can be, but now I feel like I had Star Trek moments where instant travel is possible. Also, because the Trtl can get quite hot, I may be choosing an airline with better AC.   Singapore Airlines is GREAT at everything, but I was really disappointed with the temperature on board.   I had flown Singapore Airlines for 4 flights on this trip alone.   They kept the plane so hot on all but 1 flight!  Even my flying companions said they have never been so hot on the plane, and this was coming from one person who had flown Singapore Airlines for the last 15 years.   I am really quite wary of flying with them again if I ever want to use my Trtl again.   That is how much I am willing to work around my Trtl.  Lol. While the Trtl is not perfect, it is damn close.   Awesome product!  My only hope is that this company will come out with a summer version or something, because it just blows my mind how steamy the Trtl can get. .  We love it for travel.

Ive had both the original and the new adjustable one.  And i loved the new one much much more .  Has actual padding and i can adjust each side however I wanted.   Plenty of support.

I have issues with neck pain and will be using it to sleep on the 8 hour portion of the flight.  In trying it out, it is stiff enough to hold my head upright, yet is does not feel restricting.  Now, instead of dreading the pain of sleeping on a flight, I am looking forward. UPDATE: I used it and LOVED it! While it did not keep my head completely straight, I was able to reposition it to many different positions for comfort.  I purchased it for an upcoming trip to Greece.  I was worried that I would get to warm or feel restricted after a long period, but that was not the case.  It also washed very well.  I did not tumble it dry. I have yet to use it for a long trip, but just trying it at home it seems great.  The only small issue I had was the small piece of velcro that keeps the support section closed.  I had to refasten it a few times during use, as the support seemed to push it open. So soft! Now I can sleep on a plane.

This supports my head very comfortably.   Easy to put on and off.   Fabric comes off and is machine washable.   I wrap it around my backpack or luggage handle for walking through the airport.   it is really really really The.  Best.  Ever..

I use this on all of my flights! As a pillow, arm rest, back support! It is firm and that is exactly what I need. . . I initially bought this for air travel but quickly realized that it is so useful with car travel as well.

I was not sure about this one but lost my carbeau evolution in a rental car and could not stomach spending $60+ again.  I liked this one way better. My head falls forward when I sleep sitting up.  Worked fine with my over ear noise canceling headphones too.  I am impressed.  We have used them in car rides and will be doing the big test on our next plane flight to the EU.

I took this with me to Greece, Norway and I am planning on taking it with me on the long flight to Australia.  Packs easier than the snap neck pillows and washes nicely.  Gives your neck proper support making long flights much more comfortable.   And it works.

I have used it now on two cross-country trips and slept better than I have ever slept before on a plane.   It is very comfortable and keeps your head from bobbing around and waking you up.   And it does not have too much bulk like those neck donuts.   I love it so much that I have already given three more away as gifts to friends and family who travel.   P. S.  I am usually cold on planes, so this added some nice extra warmth.  If you run hot, I am not sure if this would be too warm for you.  I will be buying one for my travel companion.

Odd as it looks this really works well.   Both my wife and I got one and it is so much better than the blow up U shaped pillows!  I have a long neck and the U pillow never really worked that well for me but this hold my head just fine.   My wife is also very pleased with the Trtl as it allows her to sleep without waking up with a sore neck.   Once you find that sweet spot, you will not even notice it!.  One tweak is that I wish there was a version that was slightly taller, my neck is a bit long and it had be a little more comfortable if it were slightly taller.

Regardless of which seat I end up in, I am able to relax and even catch a few zzzzzzs. I travel back and forth from our second home  a 4 hour flight on the cheap sardine can airline that everyone gripes about  at least once a month.   My secret is wrapping the Trtl loosely around the lower half of my face while pulling the upper edge over my eyes.   So soft.  Finally a way to rest on an airplane without exacerbating my neck issues.

I bought it for a 15 hour flight.   I usually get a window seat so I can lean my head against the window/side of the plane but I did not want to be stuck on a long flight.   This pillow worked great as a neck support and I was able to get a few hours sleep using it.   It also kept me warm since the flight was very cold.  A year ago as we were preparing to travel to Europe, I knew I HAD to find a solution to my neck problem or I had never recover from the 10 hour flight until I got home to my chiropractor.

Did not expect it to be as comfortable as it is.   I HAD to replace it!  It is so comfortable for sleeping on an airplane.

You are probably wondering the same thing I did before I actually bought and tried it.  It actually works so well I probably will not bring my normal travel neck pillow. After a single use on a car trip, I was sold.  I  was amazed at how quickly my body relaxed.  I fell asleep in seconds. When I opened the package I wondered how on earth this thing could work. My child is a special needs, his head needs support, otherwise always fall on one side, we bought this remove the scarf combined with his collar to use, gave him a good support!.  Took only a couple adjustments of placement and tightness of wrap.

I was admittedly a little confused at first, but it is fairly easy to figure out - it is basically a lumbar support pillow that you wrap around your neck, and although it looks a little strange it really works! I used it on both legs of my redeye flights and was actually able to get some sleep, which hardly ever happens - my head felt supported, the neck wrap was nice and not too restrictive, and it kept me from experiencing any neck pain or head jerking around. I finally caved because I kept seeing this on travel blogs, and I had a miserable redeye flight coming up.  My only suggestion is that sometimes the plastic infrastructure felt like it was digging into my shoulder, but I just put a little padding underneath and that helped.  I have already convinced 2 friends who travel a lot to buy one too! Trtls for all!.  It also is fully flexible and functional for both side and forward facing support.

I like the support that it provides me. I have taken this pillow to Europe two times now, and in multiple trips.   I was skeptical at first, but found that I do not want to fly without it.  It is also good for road trips..

This thing saved my necks life.  My wife and I take trips to Israel to visit some family fairly regularly and I have never found the trip to be at all comfortable considering I am a taller gent.  16 hours total flying and I woke up with no cramps in my neck with the Trtl! I am 6'6 ; so of course I was a bit skeptical at first but his little number did wonders for me.  These are soft and full.

So glad I found this!! Was perfect for my trip! So comfortable and you really can maneuver it to any position to be comfortable. Recently went on a long plane ride and it was perfect.

I was a bit skeptical about whether this would work, but was able to use it on a trip and it really does keep your neck in place and keep your mouth from hanging open.  It basically works like a neck brace and the soft fabric keeps your jaw from hanging open while you sleep.  The best part is that it takes up very little space in your bag - far less than one of those  ;pillows ; that most people seem to use.  My only gripe is that it is very warm, more so than traditional neck pillows.

I was afraid of getting the fake/first version of the pillow, but luckily I got the real, revised one.  Tested it out napping on my couch and it worked great! I am going on vacation in 2 weeks and excited to be able to sleep better on my plane ride! Told my family about it and they will be getting one too now. This is a travel life saver! It looks a little weird while wearing but it completely supports your head in a comfortable way so that you are able to sleep on long flights.

It is comfortable and easy to use.  The curved plastic piece that is inside the fleece wrap around scarf comfortably supports your neck.  I have used a standard travel pillow in the past and even tried the long inflatable pillow that attaches to the seat belt at the bottom and the headrest at the top.   Do not buy those. It is so hard to get comfortable on overseas flights, but this is a great invention that I will be taking on every trip from now on.   Buy this one.  It also packs nice and small in a suitcase pocket, so it is not a burden to have with for your entire trip. My mother absolutely loves this for her neck in the chair she is 92.

The product is as good as it described! The pillow is a nice design which prevents my head from kinking like traditional flight pillow.  Plus, the texture of the cloth is so soft and comfortable! Can not wait to use it in the next long flight!. We like the size, the pillows are packable, and they are very soft.

35 hours. .  and back. Fort Lauderdale to Austin by bus.  This neck pillow is great. . .  I used it around my neck, I sat on it when the seat began to hurt 24 hours in, lumbar support as well, and twisted around so I could rest my head on the window and get some sleep.  Amazingly flexible, comfortable covering, excellent memory foam. . . .  coupled with noise cancelling earbuds made a challenging round trip bearable.  Bonus points for the 'invisible zipper' which impressed my wife, and being able to ball it up and shove it in a knapsack  compresses down nicely .  Excellent product. .   I have purchased so many different travel pillows -- inflatable, different shapes, memory foam, etc.

I like the softness of the material and that it fits nicely on the neck.   The only reason for a 4 star is that it adds to my carry on and I need to take with me a whole bunch of things like medications.   But I still recommend this product.  This is worlds away better.

Love this! Took it to Peru and everyone was jealous. I am an Australian that loves to travel, but most travel is long haul 9 hour + flight  my trip to Scotland included a 15 hour flight + 8 hour flight  and I dreaded the flights so much that I was even considering upgrading to business class - but considering that would mean selling a couple of my children I was desperate to find an alternative.

I love this pillow.  It is a perfect pillow for traveling and even for everyday use.  I love that it bends in anyway you want for any position you need and so comfortable! I would highly recommend this to anyone.  I feel if you are a frequent traveler, whether by car, plane, train or whatever it may be, invest in one of these and save your neck.

Initial assessment is that this is a fantastic idea, will be testing on a >24 hr trip for a true long term use test.   Had the J-Pillow before and will compare the functionality and comfort of the two in this coming trip.   I have tried it for a hour or two at home and seems to support well.   Possible design enhancement might include a slightly wider shoulder base to distribute the force placed at contact points of the upper shoulder.  More room for your luggage! This is super easy to clean and the fabric is super soft.

This was an awesome travel pillow for my red eye flight recently! I was not sure what to expect when I ordered this.  It seemed like it would not be that comfortable, but I procrastinated in ordering it and it was able to be delivered same day on , so I thought what the hell.  My biggest problem sleeping on planes is that I am immediately jolted awake as soon as my mouth drops open when I fall asleep.  This completely prevented that from happening with the wrap around part, supported my head very well, and even helped keep my neck warm on the cold plane.  I definitely recommend trying this pillow over the traditional  ;ring around the neck ; type, especially if you are like me and really bothered by your mouth falling open when you sleep. This pillow however, offers the ability to stay put in the desired position and awesome levels of neck support while snoozing.

This pillow is pretty great! I have tried a few travel pillows on flights and they they never seem to work with the plane seat and I am left super uncomfortable.   This pillow/wrap thing is much better - love how I can use it to sleep on either side or forward. I use this pillow in bed each night for when I am watching TV.

Love this solution to long-distance sleepless flights!  Before Trtl, when I would doze off, my head would fall forward and my mouth would hang open, jarring me awake immediately.  I dreaded arriving in Europe completely sleep-deprived and unhappy.   When I put the Trtle on, I feel snuggled and secure, and can relax into sleep knowing that my head is supported.  I have been telling my friends about Trtl.   Their reaction?   ;I wish I had thought of that and invented it! ;.  I am short so I often have to adjust or prop mine up with a sweater or something between it at my shoulder.

By looking at the pictures it seems hard to imagine what it actually feels like.  I have troubles getting comfortable enough to sleep on a plane & the regular horseshoe travel pillow just doesnt seem to work for me no matter how I adjust it  & I have tried 3 different ones.   They will not keep my head supported enough in the right places.  It seems to be adjustable to the amount of support that you need depending on how tight it loose you velcro the material. I was really surprised how comfortable and supportive this pillow is.  The material is very soft & will not bother me.  I can see where this travel pillow may even work in the middle row.  It kept my neck upright and aligned.

Plus it packs smallish, is soft and comfy, and can work without needing the window seat to lean on something.  I travel to/from USA/Asia frequently, and definitely need to sleep on the plane -  which I could do with this travel pillow - in an aisle seat.  As someone who gets chilly easily, it was also nice and toasty warm for my neck. Did not expect it to be as comfortable as it is.

Bought it for a long flight and it worked great to prop my head while sleeping and prop my book while reading.   No problem at all getting it through security.   Removable cover is soft and washable which is nice after a trip!. I have tried many different pillow types, and this one is my favorite to date.

What is more, I did not have my usual neck ache on arrival!. Great product, I have never been able to sleep on planes and this makes it possible! Just took it round trip to China and I actually managed to get comfortable enough to sleep.  One tweak is that I wish there was a version that was slightly taller, my neck is a bit long and it had be a little more comfortable if it were slightly taller.   But even without that change I still give this one 5 stars!!. Love this! Took it to Peru and everyone was jealous.

I can see where others may have had the velcro wear out or even rip, but I have not had any issues with mine.  And it even doubles nicely as a book/Kindle lean during takeoff and landing. It packs up easily  does not take up a lot of room in the bag , the fabric is super soft and comfortable. While it did not work well for me in every position  I am assuming based on my 5' height , it worked beautifully when I had my arm on an arm rest and I ended up logging quite a few in-flight hours of sleep because of this  ;pillow ;. The only thing I wish this product had was a mini hook so it can attach easily to the luggage or backpack instead of having to pack it away. Be warned: people may look at you a little funny when you first go to put it on but I can tell you that those funny looks very quickly become looks of envy.  And for good reason.   And best thing, is the cover comes off so I can wash it.

I have used the memory foam and cushy beaded neck pillows and they feel a little bulky around my neck.   The support is a lightweight plastic form, that gently supports your head.   When I put it on and rested my head, it felt like stress just flowed away.   Love this support.   My husband had used on a trip, and when he returned he said it was wonderful.   I bought one for myself, for an upcoming long flight.   My husband was at physical therapy and talking to his therapist about the Trtl support, as she was leaving in a couple of days for a trip to China. This is an amazing travel support for your neck.   He took the new Trtl to show her, she thought it was amazing and wanted it for her travel.   I have now ordered my third Trtl, so I will have one for our trip.  They are perfect for any travel.   It would be wonderful on long road trips also.   When I put the Trtle on, I feel snuggled and secure, and can relax into sleep knowing that my head is supported.

This product is great for me because I like to lean to my side and now I can rest my head into the pillow.  It is small enough that traveling with it doesnt take up a lot of space.  I suffer from bad neck pain so I am glad this help alleviate this on my long trips. I bought one of these and was SO THRILLED at how well it holds my head up I bought a second!!  My next redeye flight I plan to use one on each side of my neck so there will be absolutely NO head bobbing.

So far, I am loving this product.  I have yet to use it for travelling, but I will be sure to update my review once I use it for its intended purpose. As of right now, just trying this out gives me a lot of hope.  When I first tried it on, it was incredibly comfortable and easy to use.  The velcro on the product does not stick to any other materials but the one its supposed to, I have found. It took me a few tries to get to adjusted comfortably but once I did, my life was changed.  Hopefully this product works as well on a plane as it did in my home!.  Have taken it on several flights and roadtrips and love it.

I have traveled to many different countries from nonstop 16 hour flights to short ones and have bought all types of neck pillows.  I took a chance on this one based on reviews I saw since it looked different than the traditional ones.  It worked well and supported my neck and head when on a plane.  5/5 for everything.  I love to sleep in the car and it helped me sleep more comfortably since I usually can not get comfortable in the car! I do think that I need more practice adjusting it for maximum comfort.

Got this for my mom who has neck pain and cant bear long distance travel without some neck pillow support.  She loves it and asked me buy some more for her siblings in India. We got Trtl pillows for our flight to Santiago,Chile from Portland,OR  a 24hr flight with a long layover in Dallas,TX.

None have worked.   I cannot stand those horseshoe pillows that push your neck forward, or the micro-bead pillows that do not support your head good enough/high enough when you lean your head sideways.   So when a friend told me about the TRTL pillow, I was intrigued.   It seemed to be just the solution I needed!I ordered a grey one just before a trip from the US to Europe, and tested it out.   I am pleased to say, the TRTL pillow works as advertised.   The material is super soft and I love that it is washable.   I feel like I have tried every kind of travel pillow there is.   The plastic supports inside the pillow  scarf, really  were strong enough to work well, but still a tiny bit pliant.   It does not fold up completely flat in your bag, but it really does not take up much space - and the video online even shows how you can attach it to the outside of a bag/backpack if you need to.   Unlike some reviewers here, I did not think the velcro stuck to anything that it was not supposed to.   It does take a little bit of practice to wrap the 'scarf' just the right way to make sure the supports are in the best position and it fits snugly, but it is not difficult at all.   I am 5'11 ; and have a very long neck, and I thought the TRTL held my head at just the right angle to sleep.   My travel buddy is more like 5'4 ; and she also had no problems with hers.   Some say that the material is too hot - I think that is just a matter of personal preference.   I find planes to usually be too cold  airlines keep the temperature cold vs.  warm to reduce airsickness , so I thought the added warmth from the 'scarf' of the TRTL pillow was nice. I have worked for a major airline for the past 20 years, so I travel a lot for business and leisure. Did I get a whole bunch of hours of fabulous sleep because of the TRTL?  No, but that is not because of the pillow - it is because I am tall and main-cabin airline seats are torture chambers, so I could not get my legs comfortable enough to fall asleep.  BUT, for once in thousands of miles that I have flown, my neck lolling about with no place to comfortably rest was NOT the problem.   I definitely think the TRTL is the style of travel pillow that makes the most sense, and is the most ergonomically correct, of any travel pillow I have used. I am going to be taking this on every long-haul flight I have from now on and have already recommended it to friends and colleagues in the travel industry.   They wrote to thank me for my purchase, sending helpful tips for its care and use, including a video, some picture tutorials, and some FAQs.  Then they later wrote to ask how I liked the product, and to ensure I did not have any problems using it.   They definitely seem concerned about the quality of their product and their customers being satisfied with it. Overall, this is a thumbs up for me. Love this product.

You can move the support more toward the front to keep your chin supported as well or to accommodate padding in the seat back. That said, there are some cons. .  If you are a large man/woman there may not be enough support with this version.   I am not one to get comfortable sleeping while traveling so yay!  My head is not doing the head bobbing whiplash thing. If you cannot wear a turtleneck, you probably will not like the feeling this will give you as it wraps around your neck. Over the ear headphones would be a problem!  And it gets really warm as it is made of a fleecy material. For me, I am always cold on an airplane and my hubby likes it cold in the car so it works.   And if I can grab some sleep I am better off even if it is not perfect. I find this to be a lightweight supportive way to take a nap in the car or on a plane.   I am a happy camper. He got the new updated version for Christmas.   I will leave a review on that page once he uses it.  When I saw an ad I wanted to try Trtl out as I travel a lot.

You will look silly wearing this but it works.  I have never been able to make it look like I am wearing a scarf or anything cool.  I ride the bus to and from work and cannot always lean up against the wall.  The ride one way is an hour and a half or more depending on traffic.  I tend to fall asleep and having my head hang was killing me and affected my whole day.  Since purchasing this, I can nap upright and not have aches and pains while I work..

Had never been able to sleep on planes until this pillow.  Had not realized it was because I was so uncomfortable but this pillow provides so much support I can conk out with no problem! Love it! I love using it with my mouse cancelling headphones— without leaning against them I do not think it would be quite long enough for my neck.  Hopefully they will create a long version!..

Takes a while finding a comfy spot with this, but when you do, its awesome! It kinda feels like laying on someones shoulders.    and if you sleep with your mouth open and drool, no one sees you :p   During my flight, I did not use it all the time though.  Sometimes I just used the whole, bundle up my jacket and lay my head on the window.   Awesome product thought! Will definitely bring it with me for all my international travels.  It keeps my neck at a comfortable angle, I can adjust the tightness of the wrap, and I can wash the pillow to get rid of travel germs and unladylike drooling.

It is super comfortable, I can sleep through the entire flight without a cramp in my neck! Also it is lightweight and easy to carry in your bag.  I fly internationally for work and need to be able to hit the ground running when I get off the plane, and without proper neck support >> proper sleep, that is hard to do.

I have chronic neck pain and my Trtl pillow helps me support the part of my neck that is feeling weak at the moment.  Grandma also has a ton of neck pain and, so I purchased her one along with my aunt as well.  Just be careful not to use it for 12 hours a day as your neck will become weaker and used to being supported all the time.  It is safe to use roughly 4 to 6 hours a day according to my physical therapist. It was comfortable when traveling.

I have tried many different pillows in the past that have worked ok, but this product  was amazing.   I flew a red eye home and slept for 5 hours out of the 6 hour flght.   It was comfortable and supported my neck.   I am going to buy more for my kids to use on our next long flght. I had the best sleep I have ever had on a 9 hour flight.

Trtl is by far my favorite! It provides great support, packs down easily, and is comfortable.  I love that it is adjustable as other pillows tend to be too big or too small depending on your body stature. I have spent a small fortune on different travel pillows in the quest for the perfect one.  My only minor complaint is the fleece can be too warm depending on cabin temperature.  Please make a cool fabric version someday in cotton, silk, etc.  I also like that the fleece layer can be removed and washed.

Small, light, fits in my bag, props the neck and supports the head during long flights, wrap around keeps my neck from cramping. I have used this on several long flights from 8 hours to more than 17 hours.  It does an excellent job in keeping my head positioned for napping.   By moving the leading edge under my chin, it also keeps my mouth closed when I really sleep. I used this product for the support of my neck in my recliner works great!.

This neck pillow is by far the most thought out and comfortable / affordable pillow I have ever purchased.  It started with just traveling. .  then i started wearing it to sleep at home, really helped support my spinal and bed aches.  THIS IS WHEN THE PROBLEMS STARTED, months in I left my wife of 5 years for this neck pillow and we have been happily ever flying ever since.  If you want something that supports you like a recently married virgin father that loves baseball, this is the pillow! PROMISE. 5 hour flight hour to Finland which helped alleviate some of the jet lag and I was able to enjoy the beauty of the country even more.

It is innovative and pretty cool to have at home and on the go.  Fare warning that it does take a bit of getting used to but when you do you will love it and want to make sure you have it all the time.  Especially if you are someone like me who will fall asleep in the car or just watching television.  I hate waking up with that crink in the neck and this will help avoid it.  Give it a try and if you do not like it the company will accommodate you. I really like this travel pillow.  And no I did not get anything free yada yada.  I just like the product.  Overall, I had a great experience with my Trtl.

Got mine in the mail the other day and just in time for my flight to Berlin! This review is based off of my first use only but so far I could not be more happy. My only fear is that the plastic which gives it its frame inside will get weak with time or even break, but until that time this review shall stay at 5 stars!.  Not sure why this is not on the shelves of airport as oppose to those useless neck pillows.

Unfortunately, the plane seat was so hard that it kept me awake most of the time.  I am sure the pillow will work well on a better flight. This is very soft and comfortable.  I liked this so much that I bought another one for my husband.  He's tall and has a longer neck so it does not quite fit him as well as it does me, but he still liked it.   it did not  whew!I used a backpack and it fit right in the largest pocket.

Took these with on a long bus tour to Texas from Tennessee.  Was a life saver to be able to bend it to fit any position I was resting in, whether head back or leaning on the window or spouses shoulder.  I also used it around my waist to prop my hands on since seats did not have arm rests.  This is such a great solution! Lightweight and I could just tie it to my suitcase handle.

When worn, it is like a half neck brace with more padding.  You will look ridiculous.  With that being said, it is the best travel pillow I have ever used. Okay, so this is a weird pillow.  When you get it in your comfortable position, it is the closet I have ever felt to when I lay sideways on my bed at home.  I fly cross country and back every week and use this both directions.  Just try it, and you will like it.  I have put 80,000 air miles on this pillow in 3 months and it is been great. These 13"x18" toddler pillows are perfect size for toddlers as well as for adults as travel and lap pillows, at least that is what we use them for.

I was pleasantly surprised that this came rolled up in a bag.  It makes it nice for travel and makes me feel like it is keeping cleaner in the airport.  The support is better than the old one I had with beads in it.  This product is the first to deliver quality airline sleep without the uncontrolled lolling of the head or waking with a painfully crooked neck.

An added benefit was my neck did not get chilled as it does on airplanes in air conditioning.  My head did not feel strained as it does when it lolls unsupported falling asleep sitting up.  I noticed all the people with their additional luggage carrying their plane pillow while mine folded into my carryon pocket and did not burden me managing more articles as did theirs.  Product.

Then I ran across a review of this "pillow".   The whole concept is very different so I decided to try it out on a recent transatlantic flight.   It is really more of a soft brace than it is a pillow.   Pretty simple to use.   Position it on your shoulder and wrap the scarf to the velcro. I do not fly that much but when I do I seem to find my self on long flights.   It seemed a bit warm when I put it on, but it tucked comfortably under my chin.   The cover is soft but the brace itself is firm.   My first flight with it I slept 6 straight hours and my neck felt fine when I woke.   I also used it as a holder for my phone in the rental car.   I found that unless I was sitting by a window I would inevitably wake up with a sore neck.   Worked even better on my second flight.   Very different and a bit awkward to pack because of it is L shape but I slept well with it in my first to tries and my neck did not complain. It is super comfortable, I can sleep through the entire flight without a cramp in my neck! Also it is lightweight and easy to carry in your bag.

Really great for grabbing some rest in the middle seat.  Support that lasts the whole nap! Does not compress like your typical neck pillow.  I do feel a little like a character out of Fifth Element when I stand up to use the restroom without taking it off..

I was finally able to sleep on an overnight flight thanks to this product.  Super soft.  The internal mechanism that allows for shaping/flexibility does not detract from comfort.  I also use it in bed as a neck support while whatching TV.   It worked  great at supporting my neck.

Purchased this for an international flight.  I did not think I would like the feel of the hard plastic wrapped around my neck, but it actually was not bad at all.  I can see how it might be uncomfortable if I had a really short neck or a really long neck, but for the average neck it is quite comfortable.  I thought that I would look weird, but when I was able to sleep while others were not, I did not care what I looked like.  It is very easy to use, easy to travel with, easy to clean.  It was really strange to figure out but once I did, I was so so pleasantly surprised.

I tried to find it in adult and then the idea hit me that maybe the junior size would be better for me anyway. I wanted the aqua color Trtl pillow since I had already bought one in gray for my husband, but realized it came only in the junior size.  I just opened the package, and it is a perfect fit for me.   we did not have to wait until 2020 to use our pillows again, but I highly recommend them!.   It is plush, has a front snap, can be twisted into any comfortable position, and has great neck support.

I had a couple of blankets, my TRTL and the back seat for taking seeping breaks. I have used my TRTL on a number of plane flights with success!I also did a criss country trip by myself from Salt Lake City to Duluth, Minnesota in my Honda Civic in a day and a half.  I was really quite comfortable, even in the tight quarters.  I have done this without my TRTL before and it was not so good.  It made all the difference in getting good quality sleep.  Other members of my family have used it too.  I had the night shift and I was able to get some good naps in, even in uncomfortable chairs.  My sister liked it too, when she tried it. I love this product.  I also like that I am supporting a small business.  it cooling on one side so it do not make me get to hot.

Used this on flights to and from Alaska.   It is very comfortable and easy to use.   The support is great for your head and definitely promotes sleeping.

As a frequent flyer, I have been looking at these for a while.  Great purchase.  It provides good neck support and it is warm  which I appreciate since I do not need to take a scarf on my carry on anymore .  It is also easy to change the position and switch sides mid-nap.  I must say I never had been able to sleep so well on a flight. It is also easy to carry and does not take much space.  Glad I bought them. Surprisingly comfortable!  Washed up well too.

I used the Trtl Pillow on a 14 hour overseas flight, and my neck felt fine on arrival.   I gave it to my daughter on the return flight; she thought it was great, but my neck ached for days as a result of my generosity.   As a result, I bought a second Trtl so both of us will each have one on our next long flight.  I was able to use it to sleep on an airplane without getting any neck pains.

Purchased as a gift.  It was well appreciated.  I was so impressed with it when we reached our destination I ordered one for myself so that I would have it for the return trip home.

I usually get terrible back pain but I did not experience any discomfort on my long flight.  I know it is used for the neck but I used it for my back.  It was great and I will travel with it forever.  10/10. Loved it for travel.

Neck support.  This works like a soft and comfortable neck brace and holds your head up.   I have used it in other places other than flights, when I have to sleep in a chair.   I lost my first one in Tokyo, and went and bought another ASAP, because I can not live without it!!  MUST HAVE FOR FREQUENT TRAVELERS!.  This one fits into the crook of my neck and keeps it positioned while sleeping.

I have bought every type of travel pillow there is on the market for all my trips, but this one gives you exactly what you want.  You could sleep sitting up straight, not straining your neck on one side, and the wrap holds it and your neck in place. The material is soft and here is exta fabric to pull over your mouth and nose on those cold planes. It also folds up into a square and easily fits into my brief case. Would recommend this to anyone!. While I can sleep easily while traveling, my biggest regret is always waking up to find I have tension or pain in my neck from my head rolling to the side or down.

I am SUPER picky about pillows and I took a chance on this one because I liked that it was moldable.  You can not feel the bar in it that allows it to bend which is what I was mostly worried about.  It also came with a sleep mask and ear plugs.  Would 1000% buy again. Full disclosure -- I also used a additional "BCOZZY" to prop my head in the best angle.

Reasonable price , very soft to the touch and most importantly it has 3 clip buttons to attach a luggage or purse to ! I have lost so many at the airport for not having that piece attached to the pillow ! Comes with a bag when I received it , now getting it back in the bag … that is a different story - how they got that in that little bag amazes me ! I will just keep it out - prove is just about right also.   Using the Trtl I was able to sleep for longer periods and not wake up with an extremely sore, kinked up neck.

I am a chiropractor with a bad cervical spine.   After using the tri pillow on my last flight, I am sold!  I felt like it gave me great cervical support and did not allow my head to lean to the side.   I also used it while sitting in the airport waiting for my flight.   I was able to put it on and then lean back against a wall and take a nap!  I am buying more for the rest of my family!. I shopped around for hours before buying this  ;pillow ; and one other and I am really happy with both.

I used the Trtl pillow multiple times on cross country red eye flights as well as flying to Europe and it worked great on all occasions.   Previously I used nothing because the normal neck pillow just did not cut it and was not comfortable.   Using the Trtl I was able to sleep for longer periods and not wake up with an extremely sore, kinked up neck.   It is easily packable and the fabric is comfortable.  Yes I take sleeping selfies.

For years I have struggled to sleep in airplanes, no matter how exhausted I was from +10hr international flights.  With the Trtl, my neck feels completely supported and cradled, there is no strain or discomfort. Pros:- Perfect neck support- Comfortable, durable materials- I can sleep!Cons:- It looks a little funny  but who cares? - If you want to lean the other way, you have to take the Trtl completely off and put it on again. I had tried a few different neck/back pillows but none really helped me. I usually could not get any good sleep in sitting position.  I took a chance with this product after reading good review and before my trip to Europe from the US on an overnight flight.  It really helped me catch some good sleep this time!! It provided good support to my neck, also very soft and warm to wear in the airplane.  This one fits into the crook of my neck and keeps it positioned while sleeping.

What a fabulous item to have on my 18 day trek through Scotland, Ireland, Wales and England.   On the airplane I was able to sleep with out my head bobbling or discomfort.  On bus tour it was even better and acted more like a support for my neck.   Its soft, pliable, twistable, and comfortable.   And best thing, is the cover comes off so I can wash it.  We love them! Only negative is that it does get.

I had my doubts, but after a few people recommended this to me I decided to buy it for my trip to Europe.  I had to work when I arrived on my first day and when I returned back home, so sleeping on the plane even just for two-three hours was really important.  Whoever designed this is a genius. I will travel everywhere with this from now on.

Love my TRTL!   I travelled more but it is come in handy when my kids wake up in the middle of the night and need me to sit with them for a while.   I can sleep comfortably sitting in the rocking chair and not wake up with a sore neck like I used too.  And the whole thing just makes you feel cozy and supported all up right in an airplane seat.

We took an international trip that involved traveling straight thru for 26 hours one way and 30 hours back.   So we had to sleep on planes. I absolutely loved this.   The only downside I can think of is that it could be hot.   This was not a problem for me because the planes we were on were cool enough that was not an issue.  Light weight and easy to launder.

I took it on an 11 hour trans-Atlantic flight and slept very comfortably. This is a unique neck pillow! Its slim design makes it easy to stuff in a carry on bag - unlike many other stuffed/bulky neck pillows - and its flexible plastic internal structure makes it very easy to position in many positions  left, right, front .  But this just took re-adjusting and it was fine.  Try it!. My husband was super skeptical about my TRTL but he took it on overseas trip and came back a huge fan - saying its the best travel pillow he's ever used.

This pack of two toddler pillows are the perfect size for my 19 month old.  He was always trying to steal my adult pillow and bring it to his room.  Not anymore! They have just the right amount of stuffing inside so they provide comfort for your toddler.  I bought a toddler pillow case separate and it fit in it no problem.  The pillows came in a vacuum sealed bag so they looked very small at first but as soon as you open the bag, they bounce to their full size.  I have noticed my son sleeping more soundly since giving him these pillows.  I would recommend.  I was able to fall asleep on a plane for the first time.

This thing was a game changer for our road trip from Michigan to Florida and back again.  I have never slept so good in the car! 25 ?.   Plus wards off those chilly breezes on the airplane.

However, these were worth.  Every.  Single.  Dollar.  I dont know what I would have done without this during multiple 12+ hour flights and 4+ hour bullet train rides. I was super skeptical about this product.  It packs up small and is soooooo supportive.  This actually supports your neck and head, unlike the common cushy U shape pillows.  This was the single preventer of a tight neck and resulting tension headaches which I am very prone to. There is a learning curve, and you may need to mess with the fit the adjust frequently when you first use it.  The $$$ also made me nervous.  Ince you find the right sit and fit for you, it is GLORIOUS.  If you wanting to travel light, but need to sleep, this is for you. This product was recommended to me by a coworker and since I had a 9 hour and a 2 hour flight right after I took a chance, I slept for the first time ever on the flight.

My daughter and I were traveling together and she pulled this out to use.  I was so impressed with it when we reached our destination I ordered one for myself so that I would have it for the return trip home.  I have tried many neck supports for traveling and I can say I have finally found the one that works the best.  I would say the only thing I had change or like an option to have is a lighter weight fabric, that fleece can get hot, especially when the a/c on your plane is not working that well.

I have not used it in travel but out of the package it is soft, great support and I think it will work well to,support my head and neck while I am in an uncomfortable airplane seat.  Unless I do something, I wake up and my head is laying on my right shoulder.

Love it! After a few adjusting moments it is so comfortable and versatile.  I use it wrapped, I use it folded - it works great.  The fabric is pleasant to touch.  Used it on the plane many times   left it on Jetblue  and on the long bus ride. This is my second one.  Can not be without turtle.  Had to buy another one and I also like the communications from the company after purchase.  They sent an email with tips and advice.   It shows they care.  The Japanese marshmallow mochi pillows! I have never written a good review lol but I had to share this.

I traveled alone w/ my one yr old  sleeping on me in a baby carrier  and my 4yr old  next to me  and this product was my life saver! I had a full day of traveling: 3. 5hrs for my first flight and 4hrs for the second flight, so I really needed some rest when the kiddos where down.  And, when finally both kids had settled down, I was able to wrap it around my neck and snooze away for over an hour myself! My head was nicely supported unlike w regular travel pillows or the horrible airplane seats, i could not believe how well it worked! Plus it provides excellent neck support, does not push your head forward like traditional U shaped pillows, and can be worn on either side. This is an amazing travel “pillow!” It is compact and packs easily.  I am a terrible sleeper on planes, almost never sleeping even on long international flights, and this allowed me to sleep on a red eye flight across the US.  It is perfect! Highly recommend.  I think there should be more padding for your cheek/face, but it is still the best option for a plane that I have ever found.

I have had my Trtl pillow since 2017.   For example - this last summer we were stuck on the plane  unexpectedly  for 4 extra hours overnight due to technical issues.   My Trtl was a lifesaver in regards to my neck and helped me sleep.  Also way easier to store than those traditional pillows you see in the airport.   The fleece is very comfortable and the support in the neck is just flexible enough to sag with the weight of your head but not enough to cause your neck to bend uncomfortably.

Love it!  Finally, hours of sleep on airplanes.   I have researched the reviews for hours on end to find this little, light weight gem.   I only travel by backpack, and this is totally worth its real estate! With all other travel pillows, I still end up head-bobbing forward, or getting a stiff sore neck.   This pillow is wonderfully supportive, I would compare it to a neck brace wrapped in polar fleece.   I love that I can pull the fabric up over my mouth in case of mouth breathing.  To save embarrassment and keep those airborne germs out.   And when the plane smells bad, I put lavender essential oil on the fabric & pull it over my nose.  I travel long-haul flights and will never travel with out it.   I have used mine on over 12 flights so far.  The fabric easily slides off to be laundered, and is still in great shape.   My husband loves it too.   Whenever I lend it to him, I regret that I wont be sleeping until he wakes up hours later.   Time to get another one for him!  In the past, I could not sleep on planes.  Now, I put on the Trtl pillow, earplugs, and an eyemask, and shut the world out for restful sleep.   I may look like a mummy, but sleeping like one, makes it worth it!.   My head goes back, forward and to the side, which does not help the pain….

Used it when flying home on the 26th.  I can not believe how this really worked!It is light, like wearing a scarf.  My head did not drop like when you put those half donuts around your neck.  I was actually able to sleep. I would highly recommend!!.  flight, at a time that I had been very short on sleep, I was able to sleep most of the trip in comfort, waking only for meals and snacks.

Wow this is a great pillow.  I was recently sick and so stuffy that laying down to sleep was miserable.   I used this pillow since I needed to sleep sitting up and it did the job.  I highly recommend it.  Had to get one for myself.

I got it last night and tried it on.  It was so comfortable, I wanted to doze off right there and then.  I am taking a 5-hour flight this week, and 12-hour flight to Maui next month.  I really like to have a couple of these pillows in my bed to help me sleep comfortably.

I been looking for something that is not too bulky for my long train ride into work, and this works amazing! I bought 2 one for myself and one for the wife, we used this for our long flight a few weeks ago and I have to say, my head was bobbing around like the little man bobby head, and I did not wake up with my neck bent in the odd position, or had any aching and pain on one side of my neck  you know the pain that you get from the side of your neck and you can not shake it off. This pillow saved my back while I was in the hospital for 5 days.   The length of my surgery and position ruined my lower back and it hurt until I put this pillow under it.   Really glad I bought this. Traded my bean bag pillow for this travel pillow and it was the best decision I made! I recently traveled for an extended period of time and spent countless hours at a time on planes and had the most restful sleep I have ever had on a plane thanks to this pillow.

I have been traveling back and forth between the East and West Coasts, usually in the Red Eye flights.   The Trtl pillow addressed my pains.   It holds my head straight and allows me to sleep on those flights back and forth.   Finally, a neck pillow that works!A happy passenger. I love this! I fly frequently for work, and I am constantly trying new travel pillows to make flying better.  You can position it on either shoulder or in the front under your jaw.  It completely supports my head, far better than U-pillows.  I am so glad I found this, and I already also bought one for my aunt who has an upcoming longer flight to Hawaii. Bonus : I am always freezing on planes and this is also like a cozy wrap scarf.  I have chronic neck problems and this is the only travel pillow that does not hurt.

I just got off a 9 hour flight and hands down this was the BEST sleep I have EVER had on a plane.  7 hours straight through.  Granted I also had a couple sleeping pills  which I generally take each time  but because of the pillow I have zero soreness, not tired, and feel as though I had a full nights sleep in bed.  I had always used the donut shaped travel pillow and never got great sleep on flights. I never write reviews but I had to this time.  If you travel you need this.  I would say that it fits perfect for me at 5'5 but for my boyfriend who is 6'1 he does not get enough support for his head.   Arrived on time.

It looks really weird, but try it.  Best travel  ;pillow ; ever.  I am someone that hates typical travel pillows because I do not think that they are very supportive and feel constricting.  This one on the other hand is just great.  I completely recommend it!.  They were also too bulky and took up too much room on my carry on.

I also cannot sleep on planes.  My head still bobs around and I just find them to be bulky and uncomfortable.  Enter the TRTL! Finally found something that supports my head and allows me to actually fall asleep.  It looks a little ridiculous and can get a bit hot, but I am normally cold on flights so that does not bother me. I am a retired woman who travels a lot.

I never write reviews but wanted to spare someone else the time I spent researching a new travel pillow.  I bought this for a 14 hour international flight and slept like a baby.  Unlike the memory foam or inflatable pillows, this supports your neck from the side, allowing you to comfortably rest your head while reclining.  It is lightweight and squeezed right in beside my 18inch laptop.  It is a little strange wrapping it around your neck, but I did not find it uncomfortable and it actually kept me warm, Plus you can wash the fleece cover after every flight.  I am so glad I found this and will be using it in the car on long road trips as well.   Great buy, and I can not recommend it enough!.  Easy to adjust and stays on great with the velcro.

It fits nicely in my suitcase and lets me actually sleep on the plane without neck pain.   I have some herniated discs in my neck and I travel a lot.   It is more comfortable, supportive and warmer than the my old pillow.   This is the answer to better sleep, low/no neck pain and better packable shape.   I am a fan!.  Me on the other hand , I looove it!!! It provides so much support and comfort, the material is very soft, and you can position it on either side, I guess it might be about how comfortable you are with having it around your neck, and find the right position for it.

The interchangeable parts was the best feature.  The memory foam was very comfortable also.  We were lucky enough on the flight back to get three seats in a row and used them as a pillow. Love this! Took it to Peru and everyone was jealous.

I purchased the pillow to use on an upcoming trip, but I have been using it  behind my neck while in my recliner and I love it! It is easy to change it into multiple positions.   I have purchased several more for Christmas gifts!. I love the Trtl pillow!  I ordered one for a flight to London after suffering on a flight to Cambodia a year earlier.

The pillow can be twisted to fit your personal need.   My wife loves how it works and how it does not make her feel like she is using a medical c collar like the more traditional horse collar pillows.  Otherwise, I will use this pillow on every trip from now on.

Great design, easy to carry, looking forward for my next trip!I tested it at home and looks like a more convenient option than the u shape pillow.  Will update my post after I get to use it on an airplane in two weeks.  I bought multiple neck pillows from , but the Trtl was the only pillow that actually supported my noggin.

Nothing beats sleeping in your bed with a real pillow, but this thing is a decent substitute.  It feels a bit weird at first, but once i had adjusted the tightness, I actually slept pretty well on my international flight.  The key is that the Trtl keeps your head from doing that annoying flopping thing as you are nodding off to sleep.  I will be throwing out my old traditional neck pillow!.  Excited to use this on an upcoming trip to Europe.

What I like about it is that it supports my head and neck as if I am resting on my husband's shoulder.   I travel over 100,000 miles a year and this has really helped me sleep.   Great product. item works for me - problem is I can not turn my head with it on - guess it just for sleeping - somewhat uncomfortable - can not adjust bottom plastic piece not to jam into my shoulder - and I have a long neck.

It is so comfortable and supports massages the neck.   Better yet, I can move comfortably today with no pain in my neck or shoulders.

This is a great lightweight travel pillow that supports your head from any direction.  It is easy to pack or attach to your carry-on, it is cover is washable, and it makes me feel like I can sleep on a plane with a bit of privacy.  We bought 3 of these for a trip to Europe and love them.   Just got back from a 11.

But this holds your head perfectly. I was hesitant to buy this.  It works like a dream and makes every other neck pillow seem as outdated as the model T.  It is excellent!.  The fleece material is warm but not so warm that you are hot.

It folds up flat for easy packing in carry on bag for flight. I really like this new style travel neck support.  It is soft and comfortable and really holds my head in place so when I sleep I no longer bob my head.  I would recommend this support for travel. I have not use it for travel, but I use it every night with my pillow and it is been great.

We had two day's of flight travel there and back, several hours each with some layover time.  I also purchased one of those inflatable C-shaped neck pillows, which I tried once and them put away.  I have since returned that one.  I had another C-shaped pillow that I also never use. I used this on a recent trip to the Caribbean.  I will not used them ever again because of how they force my neck forward.  I found it very easy to use and comfortable too.  The only thing that might make it a little better is to make it slightly taller or maybe adjustable ? .  Otherwise, I will use this pillow on every trip from now on.  Thanks!. I never sleep when I fly.  The few times I have nodded off the head jerk wakes me right up.  My neck felt supported without the bulk of other travel pillows.  I used the Trtl in multiple position during my recent transatlantic flight.  When I decided to sleep I used the recommended postioning and successfilly slept for  a few hours.  I recommend the Trtl. Hard to know what words to use to describe it but  ;snuggly ; definitely comes to mind.

When I “lost” this product at my ex's, had to immediately get another.  It is soft yet strong and structured where it needs to be to hold up my head and support my neck so I do not end up with neck/shoulder pain from traveling. Pictures do not die it justice! I love this product.  Not just for use on planes, but also great to have on a long car ride.  Have been able to sleep better as well on trips.  My head would eventually bob down.

I ordered this for my flight to Italy from California.  It was my first international flight and I have never been able to sleep much on airplanes so I was nervous.  Let me just say this pillow is AWESOME! You can bend it any way you want/need and can also be used for back support.  It is very soft and plush.  I slept through about half my flight! I have nothing but good things to say about this pillow!. Used this on flights to and from Alaska.

Bought this for my husband for an upcoming trip that has an overnight flight.   This Trtl pillow looks like it will fit the bill for him.   He has already tried it on and is happy with the purchase and anxious to try it out.   The material is soft but the insert appears to give him the support he needs. Slick.

Absolutely love this travel pillow.  It was really strange to figure out but once I did, I was so so pleasantly surprised.  I have never slept once on Overseas flights and I stayed asleep for 6 hours once.  It is way less bulky to keep in your carry on too! All around amazing purchase and recommend to all travelers.  I wore it soon after getting on and it definitely allowed me to get some sleep in on the flight.

This causes your head to droop severely to the side, which then made us wonder if it really even was worth buyingInstead, you simply place the plastic end portion almost right at the corner of your mouth.   This puts the bottom portion of the device at the highest part of your shoulder and thus keeps your head almost completely straight up.   I am serious that your head is only barely leaning an imperceptible 1/2 ; to the side.   When worn correctly, you can not even tell that your head is leaning at all.  but I am always cold on a plane so I do not image it will bother me too much.   Laughably, the blonde in the picture is not wearing hers correctly as her head is leaning way too much to the side.   She will certainly have a sore neck when she arrives at her destination!  Or, maybe she is very tall and has a long neck.   I am 5'3 ; and have a normal slender neck.   I think the larger or the shorter you are, the more straight it will hold your head.   Most people, even tall ones, have a proportionate neck to shoulder height ratio. I received the Coral TRTL and am very happy with it.   Unless you have an unusually long neck, then this should work for you.   Again, for the people who said their heads were too heavy and that it allowed their heads to fall to the side. . .   For those of us that did a lot of homework before buying, we watched tons of reviews and videos. .  they were not wearing it right.   I can wear it with the end piece closer to my ear than my mouth and it lets my head fall completely to the side. . . . . . . but that is not the way to wear it. The main thing I want people to know is that this device will hold your head almost completely straight up, with only possibly a 1/2 ;  lean to the side. I do love that it covers my mouth to hide my mouth from falling open.   You will get a warm humid blowback as you breathe, unless you simply pull it loosely away from your mouth in a sort of cupping shape.   That way your breath can dissipate instead of warming your entire face. Finally, you do not have to wrap the scarf tightly at all.   Most people did not wear it properly so as to support their neck.   I put mine on loosely and it is great. PS, the Coral color is a deeper color than in the pictures.   Not as saturated and bright as one of TRTL's advertising pictures, but it is definitely a medium hued dusty coral.   Not pink; not peach, but in between.   Yes, they should use a cooler fabric. Lucky for some, the gray one is on sale for $10 off right now.    I could have gotten that deal.  The gray would be nice for men, or as a neutral color for women.   I got coral because I will be using it on a summer trip.   The red looks quite Christmas-y and Wintery so I did not get that one.   Most put the plastic device way back so their ear was even with the middle of the plastic device. This puppy is perfect, except for the fleece material.   Would be nice if each one came with a summer and a winter scarf to change out. Best small-footprint  pillow device I have found.   When folded, it is about 8 ; x 6 ; and 1 ; thick. .   In the winter, you could literally just wear it around your neck as a scarf as you board the plane.   The plastic inner device is not noticeable.   .  I used to carry bulky pillows but no more.

I used the neck support on my 13 hour flight in coach to Japan.  It was very comfortable.  I was traveling across Japan for 10 days with only a backpack, and the neck support did not take up significant room like the horseshoe style neck pillows would have.  The material was soft and warm, and the neck support well constructed.  I will use it on all future plane travels and I am recommending it to coworkers and friends for their travels.  I love that it is adjustable as other pillows tend to be too big or too small depending on your body stature.

This is an awesome travel pillow.   It provides an amazing amount of support and allowed me to sleep for several hours on multiple flights.   I ended up using both this and a small square pillow, but I would recommend this over a more traditional travel pillow if you are only bringing one. If you travel flights 2+ hours in economy, you need this! Super comfortable and I love that it is easy to wash.

I travel back home overseas quite often and have never been able to actually sleep on those long flights.  I read a blog that tested a bunch of different travel pillows and their favorite was this one so I decided to try it.  It was the first time I actually slept on a plane.  It was not the same as sleeping on my bed of course but good enough for sitting in an airplane.  My husband started snoring in one of the flights.  We just got this Trtl pillow today.

The asthma causes me to sleep in a sitting position, therefore I need extra neck support. I have cervical spine problems and asthma.   I am still working with it, but I think it will work fine.   I have been using it on the back of my head. Honestly, this is the best and ONLY travel pillow you will ever need!Great for planes, trains, and—YES—automobiles  bus or road trip !Get it! No neck cricks on a 7 hour flight just well rested travel.

I had to sleep in a recliner for a week after having sinus surgery and was worried about getting a stiff neck from the chair.  Planned ahead and got this to help support my head and it worked perfectly! The photo of the woman sitting with one end up next to her face and the other bent over her shoulder is how I used it.  I still use it on occasion while watching tv after a long day of work.  I imagine it would work well for travel too but I am not sure if it is too bulky to carry though unless you leave something else out of your carry-on bag.  That is something I have not done yet.   I guess I am a mouth-breather when I sleep, so I never sleep on a plane because my mouth falls open.

Thought I would be able to put in the carry-on but that did'nt work out.  This is thin and light wieght, but there is a slit bend in these, so I did'nt feel good about pushing it in.  Found out about this Trtl Pillow from reading a section on what well known people who are constantly traveling for their occupations. Hooked it on to my carry-on with one of the hook-on latches that I bought, worked out great.  She said  ;Believe me I have tried them all ;, and she would never be without this one.  I found it wonderful as well.  Started noticing a lot of people carrying The Trtl around. I will travel everywhere with this from now on.

No neck pain issues what so ever.  easy to carry.  very soft.  i struggle to sleep on planes and this product worked great on a trip from california to rome.  takes a while to get used to putting in on took me about 3 attempts  to find the best placement for me.  It took my wife longer, 6 attempts to get it just right.  It will knock off your earbuds while putting it on and also if you move your head a lot, but you can eventually place the earphones in and not have it be an issue. Used it on trip to Hawaii! It was awesome!.

I absolutely adore the Trtl pillow!  I have used it on several long flights from the US to Dubai and Ethiopia.   Gone are the days of waking up snuggled up on the shoulder of the giant gorilla seated next to you!  We also take it on long car rides.  Very comfortable and I can actually get higher quality in my sleep as I travel.  Can not recommend this highly enough!.  It is dope - buy it if you wanna protect ya neck.

I almost never write reviews, but this product's strange appearance could cause the buyer to hesitate, and I had to weigh in with my extremely positive feedback.   This product performs head and shoulders better than any other travel pillow I have tried.   When tightly wrapped and positioned correctly, I was able to sleep for at least 7 hours of an 11 hour flight-- in an aisle seat in coach!  This product provides significantly better neck support than the traditional u-shaped pillow-- enough to keep your head from flopping over.   I will never go back to the standard pillow!  The only cautionary note I would add is that I am 5'5 ;-- I could imagine that someone who was a lot taller or with a much longer neck might need to position a small pillow/blanket/wadded up sweater between the Trtl and the shoulder to make it a bit taller.  I will defintely be buying another one for myself in tje near future since the one i got was a gift.

I would have to say that I was kind of doubtful when I heard someone talking about this pillow.   I did not look like a pillow at all so I had to purchase it to find out what the hype was all about.   Coincidentally,  I was going to be traveling from Palau to Indianapolis for a meeting.   What perfect time to purchase the pillow and find out if it is indeed scientifically proven to be the best travel pillow.   Unfortunately, I was not able to purchase it on my first leg of the journey from the island of Palau to Indianapolis.   I made it my goal to purchase this pillow throught  so that I can use it on my long flight back. All I can say is wow.   My neck felt so much better and I could fall asleep sitting on the uncomfortable airplane seat.   I really did it is job as far as support and comfort.   Very nice. Good product and I would recommend it for people who travel long distances.   It makes a whole lot of difference. The travel pillow is very comfortable and it is also bendable, you can form different shape and adjust it to your own neck size.

Will buy another to keep at parents house for when I visit.  I am 6'2' and more like a oak tree then a pencil.

I am usually too uncomfortable to sleep / relax, and I have tried lots of travel pillows. For any flight, this is a must have item.  This takes up very little packing space, it does not smell like rubber or plastic, you do not have to put your mouth on any part of it to make it work or make lots of noise to air-pump it up.  It was great - love this travel pillow scarf :D.  The pieces torn and scattered over the floor seemed like they were quality.

So glad I tried this.  Once I got it positioned right for comfortable support I actually was able to sleep well on a 16 hour flight!  I did buy an adjustable pillow type that I used for lumbar support up to armrest which completed my travel comfort.  So glad I bought both. I have yet to use it for a long trip, but just trying it at home it seems great.

This is the best invention EVER.  Went on a long-haul flight  Texas to New Zealand , 15 hours there, 12 hours back.  I used the Trtl both times, and it kept my head up, but without discomfort.  And it is very easy to put on.  Some reviewers have said they could not wear noise-canceling headphones with it, but I had no problem at all, just put the headphones on first and pulled the top bit of the cloth on the neck rest over the bottom of the headphones.  With the headphones  plugged into a white-noise app on my phone , an eye mask and the Trtl, I was in a lovely little cocoon of rest despite being stuck in an economy seat for 15 and 12 hours.  I highly, highly recommend this brilliant design!.  Tested it out napping on my couch and it worked great! I am going on vacation in 2 weeks and excited to be able to sleep better on my plane ride! Told my family about it and they will be getting one too now.

My husband and I both tried this as passengers on a long car ride and found it very comfortable and stayed in place better than our typical u shaped neck pillow.   I admit I was unsure about how the internal plastic support would feel but it is very comfortable and the fleece wrap is so soft and cozy.  Planning on buying a few as gifts. Our whole family took these on an international trip  22 hour flight  and I do not know what we would have done without them!  Much better than the U-shaped pillows.

Love it! Will be traveling with it, i was skeptical at first but its actually amazing. Surprisingly comfortable!  Washed up well too.

Well, at least part of it is rational--I can not stand how bulky they are, and the prospect of using one on a flight only to be stuck hauling it around for the duration of the trip is enough to put me off entirely. I have an irrational hatred of neck pillows.  I always travel with a medium-size Timbuk2 bag, and this slides neatly into a corner of it while leaving me plenty of space for my other miscellaneous travel stuff.  It fits into the weird spaces left between shoes in luggage.  I have turned a few friends on to it, too.  Bottom line: nothing is going to make sleeping on a plane look more urbane, but this definitely ups the comfort factor without having to haul around a bulky neck pillow. Love my Trtl neck pillow!  Not only do I sleep better without head bobs but I also arrive with my hair looking better because it has not been flattened by leaning against a standard neck pillow!  Do not only use it for traveling, also for quick naps in the house!.

I have had the original Trtl pillow for years and love it! It is so easy to stick in my carry on bag without taking up a lot of space.  I also love that I can wash the cover after being in an airplane.  I am looking forward to getting the upgraded version as my 10 year old has now commandeered my original!.   I finally found one that actually works!  I recently used it on a long haul flight from the US to Germany and it made sleeping on the flight so much more comfortable.

It was a long grueling flight to the Mid west from California. I was sceptical at first.  It is by far the most comfortable and warm neck pillow we have used.  It did take some time getting used to adjusting it properly.  But all the other pillows are rip offs in my opinion.  It truly supports your neck.  But I got it for myself and my fiancée at the time.  Which is the first thing to bend when you fall asleep on a plane.  I wish I could post photos of people uncomfortably sleeping on planes lol.   I had wake after about 2 hours, rotate the neck support to the opposite side and fall right back to sleep.

So I purchased a few different styles of neck support for my flight.  I tested them all for comfort and this was the winner.  I must admit it looked like it was marketed for women only but the review were good and figured I had add it to the list.  I am 6'2' and more like a oak tree then a pencil.  So I was skeptical until I tried it. You can imagine the pain in the muscles on the left side of my neck!  I have tried many different things and this neck pillow is by far the best thing for me.  Unless I do something, I wake up and my head is laying on my right shoulder.  I now own two of them and I am so grateful they exist.  Truly this product is a blessing for me!  Perhaps  it could help you also!.   It is like an upgraded regular Travel Pillow.

I have spent hours on sites such as Magellan's, TravelSmith and Sierra Trading Post, hours that have left me a bit blurry. My Trtl Pillow has arrived and I am very excited to use it for my next flight. . but when 's search algorithms returned The Trtl Pillow on a list of results as I browsed travel accessories, its unique shape caught my eye. I have tried so so many of these neck pillows desperately seeking one that  a  does not require a bulkhead to function properly and  b  would prevent my head from falling forward.  So so many products have failed these two simple tests. From those search results, I also ordered the J Travel pillow.  While that is a very cleverly designed item, it was still bulkier than I wanted.  I played with both pillows. . . . and kept the Trtl. .  This pillow has the added bonuses of being compact and lightweight as well as easy to clean.  You can Find YouTube videos that offer instructions.  I kinda feel like I have won a travel pillow lottery. . I have never been able to sleep on an airplane until I got the Trtl pillow!! Now I can get some good rest on long flights so I am ready for my travel adventures when I arrive well rested! The best part is no neck pain since my neck is not stuck in a strange kinked position while I am sleeping!!.

I love this travel pillow, I have used a few others.   the scarf pillow and normal beanbag like neck pillow  just do not compare this one is perfect and can be twisted and folded just how you need it.  Lean against the window or to support your chin or even as great lumbar support for your back on those straight up airplane seats. I have tried a number of neck supporters or travel pillows and between the seat headrest or just the thickness of the backs of some of them - I never use them past one trip.

I like it a lot!!!! I had really good sleep on the plane with this.  I only got one for myself because I was not sure how I would like it.  But my partner also loved it and we will definitely  get another one for our future trips.  Having the support piece in the Trtl makes all the difference.

Yep, it really works! I was looking for something to make sleeping on airplanes easier, and tried several different products, but this one is the only one with which I could sleep just fine.  Almost as good as a bed  well - OK. .  not quite, but at least you can snooze with no problem .  Now I am gonna buy one for everybody in our family, since we make frequent 6+ hours overnight trips.  I also like that it wraps around your neck, since often the airplanes are freezing anyway so it feels that you wear a warm scarf. . I had one of these before and loved it.

I got this travel pillow to use it as a piercing pillow.  So I took the memory foam out this travel pillow and filled it with the filling I used in the photo.  It is the perfect piercing pillow.  The cover is stretchy and very soft.  It seems like It‘ll wash well too.  I had definitely buy replacement covers if they sold the covers by separately.   The fleece is a bit warm, but really soft and washable.

I just got back from my honeymoon which consisted of 6 plane rides.  This scarf was a life saver.  I offered to buy one for my husband but he could not get past feeling dorky in it.  That was, until we were on a 9hr international flight and dying of exhaustion.  I washed it when we got home and it held up great.  I love the velcro they used, it does not stick to anything but itself.  Took a red eye flight to Germany this year, and when we arrived, it was 6:30am.

I got this pillow just in time for my trip.   When I unpacked it, I was pleasantly surprised of the quality.   I loved that it was a little heavier than other travel pillows.   The best thing about this pillow is that you can move it around and adjust it the way you need it to be so that you can have a comfortable flight.   This pillow comes with an eye mask and ear plugs also.   LOVE IT!!!.   She too loved it.

I ordered two of these and finally got a chance to use them.   They are much better than any other travel pillow I have tried both in support and in travel-ability.   In fact, I carried both of them in about the same space as one  leaving room in my son's backpack for whatever he wanted to pack!  LOL   I did not purchase any for my husband and daughter as they both sleep on the tray tables on an airplane and did not think these would work as well for that purpose. Regular U-shaped travel pillows never work for me.

Good quality product.  Very soft with a removable cover and stays where you want it.  I use it in my bed while watching tv or working for extra support.  Great for my car, boat and train rides as well!**Why? There is nothing to  ;blow up ; and then have the neck pillow leak.

Bought this for a long flight! Have ended up using it on a daily basis at home! Love the adjustability of it!. Best travel pillow ever! The regular neck travel pillows were so uncomfortable when travelling overseas.

I went to visit my daughter on Portland Oregon  I am in New York  and my flight home was overnight.   I figured after reading the reviews I would give it a try.   It worked so well I fell asleep in no time.   If I drooled it was only on me!  Love it!!!. It works perfectly on the plane.

While I would rate the comfort and use of this product as 'average', that is the standard for like products in my experience.   What I really enjoyed about this product in particular is its pack-ability.   It carries and stores well, and that is what put it above similar products to me. I bought the gray Trtl for a trip to Vietnam, and it worked amazingly.

So awesome.  I really found this to be quite supportive on my 13 hour flight.  I felt a little funny at first putting it on, but then when I was really comfortable the whole flight I did not care what I look like! Also, I love that I was able to cover my mouth with it.  It will be my future all-around travel pillow.

I travel a ton for my job and this has had a huge effect on my travels, I have been able to sleep on planes every time I have used this, and actually wake up rested and my neck has never been sore.  Highly recommend, I have been telling all of my friends and family about it. I love this thing! I use it in the car as a pillow on road trips and also as arm supports while at home sitting in a chair.

This one is the first I will use a second time. it is a highly innovative product with great potential.   When a big company sends me, or if I can work it out with miles, I am more likely to go in business or first, but increasingly I am traveling for a small company, like the one I am partnered in, or a non-profit, and then it is coach.   It is the best I have found, and if you are of smaller to average size and would like to sleep on a plane and not get a crick in your neck, this for you. On that basis, I am happy to give it a five star review.   I suggest that the makers:1.   Offer a larger size  or perhaps even sizes, plural  in addition to the one on sale now.  I must have tried half the travel pillows on .   I am 6'3 ; with a correspondingly long neck, and while the current design offered more support than the conventional designs I have tried, it still allowed my head to flop over further than I would have liked.   The plastic support within could have been almost double the length to really hold my head up.    At that length, it might be that the support would also have to be made stronger as well.  2. I travel more often than I had like, for longer distances than I am used to.  This is a lower priority, but while planes are sometimes chilly and the fleece is warmly comforting, planes can also be uncomfortably toasty, making the fleece too warm.   Could one of the newer fabrics that claim to react to temperature, by retaining or releasing heat as needed, help with this?In spite of these caveats, this is still the best out there that I am aware of.   I like that it supports your head in any direction you choose and can easily be shifted to meet your comfort needs.

Once I figured out how to wrap it around my neck a comfortable sleep was possible. Based on suggestion from friend, I purchased this for an 11 hour overseas flight.  Do not be mistaken, this will not allow restful sleep in a cramped cattle class airplane seat, it just helps you rest comfortably without neck stain.  Good Velcro closures. I have always struggled with traditional neck pillows.

You might look kinda strange, but works well!   Good support and cozy.   I fell asleep with it during a 14 hour flight and worked very well.   Usually I get neck/back pain when trying to sleep on airplanes.   Did not experience that with this product.   I even fell asleep without it on the way home  did not realize I had fallen asleep  and notice the pain return.   I did wear it with headphones for part of the trip too - worked just fine.   Packed up easily in my backpack  which is usually quite full to begin with anyway . I love this product.

it seemed like it had potential and on my prior red-eye flight I got about 1 hour sleep total in bursts of 10 minutes.   When I was seated in a middle seat this last trip I just hoped this new contraption would do the trick.   After dinner and movie, I put on my Trtl and gave it a go.   I was awaken by lights and noise in the cabin.   Looking at my watch realized I had just slept 3 hours and only woke due to lights and commotion.   It was time for breakfast - perfect.   It was very easy to fall and stay asleep with this 'pillow'.   so comfortable.  Since purchasing this, I can nap upright and not have aches and pains while I work.

This product was recommended to me by a coworker and since I had a 9 hour and a 2 hour flight right after I took a chance, I slept for the first time ever on the flight.  On the plus side it kept my neck warm.  It was easy to put on and comfortable to wear. I used on an international flight and it was great.

I have been looking for an alternative to the bulky U-shaped neck pillow and this is it!  It is perfect for propping your head to sleep on planes, trains, or automobiles- even if you are stuck in a middle seat and easily tucks away in your carry-on when done.   The cover easily comes off to wash as well.   I have likes this so much I have purchased more and given as gifts.   They too loved it!. No more kinks in my neck when traveling.

This travel pillow is so easy to pack! I travel really really light and the Trtl pillow has been able to make the cut and makes travel a lot more comfortable.  I got one for my mom to take along on the long road trips she and my dad take now that they are retired.  They both like it so much my dad uses it just for napping in his favorite chair!. It is not perfect, but so far the best travel neck support I have seen and we tested many.

I fly a lot for work, which is never fun.  I am not a great flyer.  I have been looking for a long time for the type of support this offers.  Now that I have time on the airline using it, I can readily recommended this for both short and long flights.  I have never been a fan of the blow up or soft neck pillow donut. I brought this item for my wife, but when it came, my youngest son took it because it was so comfortable! The item also came with an sleeping mask and ear plugs.

I was not sure if I should give it 4 or 5 stars.   Having said that, outside of a lie flat seat in first class, this is the first time in my life that I have had significant sleep on a plane.  Furthermore, when I woke up, my neck was not sore.   It worked as advertised!.   If your neck is short the adult size will ride up your cheek making it a little uncomfortable holding your head more upright.

The Trtl pillow is very soft and comfy.  I have used it just once so far, and that was as a passenger in a car.   I fell to sleep quickly with no head bobble.   I have a short neck, but it fits fine.  I am looking forward to my next long air flight. This pillow is awesome! I always do the annoying head bob thing on the plan when I fall asleep, and this pillow supports my neck well so it does not hurt! It is also super soft and warm.

Worked great.   Tried it on both sides and slept comfortably.   I was worried the fleece would be too hot but i did not find that to be a problem.   Only complaint was that the instructional video was pretty quick and I could not catch the proper way to insert the plastic part back in after washing.   I will just take a marker and make a note on the plastic part for next time.  I am looking forward to my next long air flight.

I had seen positive reviews and I wanted something that would fit in my bag easier than the standard neck pillow.  This was the perfect match and it is easy to use and care for.  Also added bonus that I can cover my nose and mouth with it for long, dry plane rides. I have been traveling back and forth between the East and West Coasts, usually in the Red Eye flights.

Very lightweight and easy to travel with either packed in or attached to my carryon when flying.   It keeps my head upright, but still gives support to my head without having to depend on my neck muscles.   I have not had the opportunity to really use it to  ;sleep ; on a plane yet, but I think it would work great!  My husband even suggested we could use for naps on long car rides!   for passengers only, of course!! .   Only thing is my husband is over 6'-1”.

Love this and easy to wrap around your purse when walking through the airport.  Love the snaps at the front which keep your face from falling forward.

HECK YES! My husband ordered these for us to take on our redeye flight from Phoenix to Washington, DC and these were AWESOME! We have the pillow versions that everyone buys at the airport, but this was way better.  We wrapped these around our necks to keep our necks up and supported, but also used the other u shaped pillows against the seat for our head to lean on.  Both made for a better than expected flight!. I bought this because I can literally NEVER sleep on planes.

It does what it says it does, it feels awesome and supports the neck.  The first time using it I did had uncomfort in my ear just because it was adjusted wrong and I was tired.   But for the most part it is worth the money.  Took a red eye flight to Germany this year, and when we arrived, it was 6:30am.

Love this product.  I had an original Trtl, but it was lost while traveling.   I just got this new and improved one and am very excited! The fabric is great and the adjustable support is top notch.  Brilliant idea!. I have thought about buying one of these for a long time and I am a bit bummed, I did not get one sooner!! Yesterday was the first time after my 11 hours of travel that I did not have any neck or shoulder pain from sleeping in odd positions! The pillow is easy to travel with, the fabric is comfortable and really user-friendly.

I love this Trtl pillow.   It is light and easy to pack.   It is snuggly, but not too warm.   It gives enough support so your head is supported by the back headrest and the Trtl neck support, so you do not flop forward as you doze off.   I bought another one for my niece, who is on a college LaCrosse team and must endure interminable bus rides.   She loves it, too. I do not know if the fleece is the highest quality; it may wear easily, though after 3 months it still looks pretty good.   We found it to be very comfortable.

I loved the first edition, slept comfortably on flight across the Atlantic, no kinks in my neck.  Slept so soundly my kid was taking funny photos.   I have the new and improved model as well, I love the adjustability of it, have used it on many flights, just have not had a photographer along to document me sound asleep.   Using this product,  I fell asleep at the beginning of the flight and woke up when we were landing.

This thing held me down  or up, I guess?  for a series of long flights from DC -> Central Asia and back.  As a frequent international flier, this was the first time I did not have a sore neck after a day  or longer  of flying.  It is dope - buy it if you wanna protect ya neck. @Trtl, please hire RZA for an ad campaign.  This solves the problem when I can not secure my window seat.

I love this pillow!  It really does work well.   It is soft and cozy and supportive so taking a nap is a breeze with the nice head support.   At first it was a bit of a mystery as to how to put on neck but just remember to fit the curved side of the pillow into the curved part of neck and voila, head support!  Simple!  You are going to love it!. This neck pillow is amazing! Once you get it in a spot that works best for you, it is perfect! I slept a solid 7 hours on a flight from LA to Dublin thanks to this pillow and a ohderii Foot Rest, Portable Travel Footrest.

I do believe I succeeded in getting about 4 hours.   I would have slept more but the plane was an older model without cool ventilation fans that typically blow on you, and the support was simply too warm much of the time.   The return flight was much cooler and the support was comfortably warm.   I also used the support for cat naps on trains and buses.  I think its the best neck support out there.  I recommend it. Seems pretty promising.

This thing is amazing.  It lets me lean my head back against the seat while propping my head up, stopping it from lolling to the side.  So, no falling asleep leaning into the person next to me.  Being able to sleep while sitting upright in an airplane seat -- awesome.  I am rarely compelled to write reviews but this thing makes such a difference. I got this for my 18 month toddler who likes to use pillows.

I have had lots of different types of pillows and not liked any of them. I tried this travel pillow on the suggestion of my sister who flies regularly.  But this is amazing, so much better than anything I have tried.  It may look a little funny, but Is by far the most comfortable travel pillow I have ever owned! It supports my head and neck perfectly and keeps my neck in line so it does not get sore! I would highly recommend this for anyone who travels regularly! It is also a lot smaller and easier to carry than most travel pillows!.   Worked like a charm.

This is the best pillow for travel.   It is not as cumbersome as the typical crescent shape or blow up type and more comfortable.   You can actually put it in your backpack, briefcase, purse or whatever.   My son is disabled and we used it at the baseball game yesterday.   It not only kept him warm but he could take a nap or rest his head when needed.   I have not washed it yet but you can remove the plastic and wash it according to the directions.   When I tested it, it seemed a bit warm but it is made out of a very comfortable soft material.   It is easy to put on and my son loved wearing it even when he was not tired.  Highly reccomended.

It is sooo nice to lay on my left side lol.  i use it to make sure my piercing does not get hurt or touch my bed.  It is not the comfiest thing ever obviously but it is comfy enough not to be miserable and it is nice. This is a travel life saver! It looks a little weird while wearing but it completely supports your head in a comfortable way so that you are able to sleep on long flights.

This thing is actually pretty awesome.  I have not traveled with it yet but I tested it out today and almost fell asleep on the couch sitting up, wearing it.  It is not exactly super compact but it is flat enough that it should pack pretty easily in a carry-on.   Used for traveling but also when I pulled a muscle in my neck.

I was able to sleep a couple of hours at a stretch on my 12 hour flight, without any issues.   Did not have any stiffness/pain in my neck either.   I have neck issues and usually have to see my chiropractor if I sleep in an awkward position or fall asleep on the couch with my neck hanging. The design is great.  Not as bulky as most traditional foam donut pillows.   Folds to the size about a teeshirt and packs easily. What a great travel pillow!I was surprised at the support it provided. The added bonus is also it kept me warm on the flight.   I usually have to wrap myself up in a pashmina and with the Trtl I was very comfortable. The only criticism is that the support/brace is a bit too long for my  short?  neck. Will no longer fear/dread long flights in economy class!  Thank you!.  With the Trtl, my neck feels completely supported and cradled, there is no strain or discomfort.

It does not matter how long the trip is, how tired I am or how many sleeping pills.  I just recently took a 12 hours flight to Italy and in order to avoid jet lag I had to sleep at least 6-7 hours to be able to functioning as soon as I landed.  Before this MIRACLE thingy, I used to probably get 1. 5 hours of sleep at the MOST despite heavy dosis of sleeping pills…and when I say “sleep” I mean zoning in and out of consciousness.  After looking and reading reviews, I decided to give it a chance and Jesus! How glad I did.  For the first time EVER I slept “comfortable” in a long haul flight.  I was able to sleep almost 7. 5 hours which is a miracle. To be honest, I do not tend to write reviews anywhere but after a 12 hours flight to Italy I felt compelled.  This product has NOTHING to do with your typical travel pillow that are uncomfortable for most people and I have tried them all.  When I got it, I was a little bit worried cause it look everything but comfortable but how wrong I was.  I honestly believe this is the BEST option specially if you are a tummy sleeper like me.  I do not know exactly how it works, but feeling the support on my cheek rather than the back of my neck, like the typical travel pillow, tricked my mind into thinking Im sleeping side ways or on my stomach.  You do not even have to worry about not having the support of a panel or window to have some decent rest.  On my way back, I tried not sleeping so much as you travel during the day…I ended up having to removed it and put it away as I snooze away twice and i was messing with my sleeping cycle.  Hands down the BEST travel pillow in history!. I give the second one to my older sister my mom loves her so much that I will give the second one to my sister as a Christmas gift.

Comfortable to sleep in the car on long rides and easy to travel with. We like the size, the pillows are packable, and they are very soft.

We bought these for a long overnight flight and they were certainly effective.  I wore it soon after getting on and it definitely allowed me to get some sleep in on the flight.  I recently took a pretty spontaneous long trip and regretted not having it along.  This can help create comfort in environments that push back against comfort. Great little travel pillows.

Jennie Strong After having a severe whiplash 10 years ago that went undiagnosed and untreated for almost two years, I still struggle with neck pain every time I travel.  A year ago as we were preparing to travel to Europe, I knew I HAD to find a solution to my neck problem or I had never recover from the 10 hour flight until I got home to my chiropractor.  Thankfully, I found the Trtl and fell in LOVE! Not only was I able to be comfortable while I slept, but I was even able to turn it to the front and rest my neck forward while I crocheted! I never could have done it without the Trtl!THANK YOU for creating this amazing product! I have told many people about it over this last year!Every holiday needs a Trtl!  .  We recommend them to friends all the time! There is literally no other neck support pillow out there that prevents your head from falling forward.

I always struggle on flights because I have never found a supportive enough neck pillow.  I had always wake up with a sore neck or just completely unrested after an overnight flight. Before I even brought the Trtl Pillow on a flight, I tested it out at home.  No neck pain.  No more dreading red-eye flights, which is basically every flight I take. I could not be happier with this purchase.  It is incredible for traveling, i usually wrap it around my suitcase handles to transport it.

Regular U-shaped travel pillows never work for me.   Either they are too puffy and make my neck uncomfortable or they are not puffy enough and my head bumps against hard surfaces while trying to nap.   But this!  This is the perfect solution.   Thank goodness my fiance came home minutes after I did, otherwise I would have fallen asleep right then and there.   I was not even that tired--I was just that comfortable!  I can not wait to toss this in my bag for our honeymoon flight. I bought a Trtl Pillow because the traditional neck pillow just was not cutting it for me.

In the past I have woken with neck pains from sleeping in awkward positions.   I have not used it on a flight yet, but I use it at my desk in my reclining office chair  at home , where I often nod off.   The Trtl has remedied this - I have used it leaning to the right, left and front and have had pain-free naps.   I am sure I had have the same experience on a flight.   Highly recommended!.  While it is no night of sleep in your own bed, it makes cramped, upright plane napping possible! Bonus - if you are a drooly mouthbreather like me when you sleep, you can conveniently cover your mouth with it also.

I loved this neck pillow! I used it to travel 15 hours in the car on vacation & it helped me finally get sleep! I love that it has the snaps in the front so you do not have to worry about it falling off or moving around.  I stan it to everyone I travel with.

I was shocked by how well this thing works.  First time I have ever been able to sleep for an entire flight.  Great product.  Since this is primarily for sititng upright in the seat for someone in the middle or the aisle seat, this was ideal for me.

I used the Trtl Pillow on a 10 hour plane ride to London and it works lots better than the horseshoe neck pillows and the ones like .   It may not work for everyone, but I am glad that I gave it a try.

Updated:  I have bought three more.  They have fixed the Velcro so it will not catch as much, which is nice.  I also bought their new, adjustable pillow, which is practically perfect. This pillow is surprisingly comfortable.   The frame in the scarf holds the fabric away from my throat, which I like. It is a little strange to use, like my head is not really supported on anything, almost like sleeping on air.   I also was not aware that the grey color was going to have lime green Velcro and stitching, which I do not like.   I also wish it came in a larger size.   Overall, though, this is the best travel pillow I have ever used. I bought it for my kids to nap in the car while driving.

We bought five of these for a trip to Japan that involved two 14-hour flights and numerous train rides.  Everyone in our family loved them.  The Trtl pillow is easy to use, comfortable and it works so well, especially if  like me  you have a hard time getting to sleep on a plane.  Our trip was last summer, but we still reach for our Trtl pillows all the time, for long car rides, train trips and flights.   I am ordering another one as I accidentally left in my last hotel on my last excursion.

I am an Australian that loves to travel, but most travel is long haul 9 hour + flight  my trip to Scotland included a 15 hour flight + 8 hour flight  and I dreaded the flights so much that I was even considering upgrading to business class - but considering that would mean selling a couple of my children I was desperate to find an alternative.   The Trtl was great!  I slept and was comfortable doing it!  People even stopped me and asked about the product.  One guy even tried to buy it off me mid flight!Love it!.  On a 12 hr.

I always struggle with the typical travel pillow.   I like that it is memory foam, but it is bulky and I think I dropped my old one numerous times on my last international trip under the seat in front of me or in between the seat and the side of the plane.   I like that it is washable after removing the structured piece inside and it has a very small footprint so it did not take up much room in my backpack.   I did not drop it once.   I thought it a bit awkward the first time I tried it, however once I adjusted it to my liking I found it perfect and will continue to take on not only airplane rides but long car trips as well.   My secret is wrapping the Trtl loosely around the lower half of my face while pulling the upper edge over my eyes.

I typically have pretty severe neck pain with my head tipping to the side just falling asleep in the car for a short time.   It was indeed what I hoped it would be.   I knew I had be in bad shape on my trip to Africa.   It worked beautifully.   It did seem that the fleece on mine was much thinner that what I see in the Facebook ads.   That was disappointing.   But the design worked well.   I will definitely be using it again.  I was really quite comfortable, even in the tight quarters.

I recently bought two of the travel pillows.  My husband and I took them for a test run.  The fabric is soft and they do not take up much space or weight a lot, which is important when traveling.  I really liked how I could use this even in a middle or aisle seat with out having the window to lean against.

Amazing for sleeping on a plane! Slightly bulkier than the inflatable ones, especially with the stiff frame, but it is small enough that it does not take up that much room.  As for comfort, it was great. Only drawback for me was that I was trying to listen to music, and with my Bluetooth headphones, the brace pushed the headphone into my ear uncomfortably.  But when I switched to in-ear buds, it was fine..

I have a very hard time sleeping on a plane.  This "pillow" gave me a lot of support so that my neck did not end up being in a strange position for a long time. I used this on a trip across the Atlantic.  Occasionally I would wake up and just change it to the other side to vary my position.  That is big for me.   I recommend this to anyone that sleeps often in a plane or vehicle. I can already tell this is going to be a game changer for long distance travel.

I was a little skeptical but it actually does support the neck really well!! I am going on a 10hr flight to Japan and have aisle seats.  I used this around the house on the couch and it is very comfortable.  Head does not flop around, very sturdy!.   It not only kept him warm but he could take a nap or rest his head when needed.

I bought this for my daughter since she travels often and wanted one to use for sleeping on airplanes.   She used it this week on a three hour flight and said it was wonderful.   It is well worth the bit of extra packing effort.

I bought a Turtl pillow about a year ago and it is my favorite travel pillow so far.  It is super lightweight, attaches to my back back so I do not worry about storing it and taking up room, and I can wash the cover after every trip so it is not gross from the plane. Perfect gift.

I loved to use the turtl pillow, the size is easy to carry anywhere  I put it around my handbag handler  and it does look cute, as a scarf, when you are using.  Perfect for plane travels, it supports the neck on the right position and you can sleep relaxed!. I have never been able to sleep on an airplane until I got the Trtl pillow!! Now I can get some good rest on long flights so I am ready for my travel adventures when I arrive well rested! The best part is no neck pain since my neck is not stuck in a strange kinked position while I am sleeping!!.

Takes a while to get use to apparatus supporting neck , but I can tell I am already going to like it better than the blowup pillow.  I would not recommend putting on until after the plane cools down.  Can get warm. Received via  shipping by 2 days.  Comfortable and supportive for sure.  I have a 16 inch neck and felt good tight or loose. I am a fan of this invention!.  Works well as lumbar support too.

Just done 22,000 miles, long and short haul flights, days on tour buses and this is thebest product I have ever had.  Walked off the plane after 8,500 miles and 17 hours in economy andno neck pain or upper back discomfort at all. Hard to know what words to use to describe it but  ;snuggly ; definitely comes to mind.  Its surprising how adjustable it is while wearing, during the flightI was able to change it from one side to the other with minimal effort and no bother to otherpassengers. Very soft and flexible.

I am Robert's wife Diana -- I am the one who bought & uses this pillow.   I love my Trtl! I have tried many travel pillows, but the Trtl is the only one I own now -- it gives the best head/neck support.  And it is packable! Also, on an African safari last year, it was quite cold in the mornings . .  I removed the frame from my Trtl and wore it as a plush, warm neck gaiter! It truly is a terrific travel companion.  The wallet looks great . .  kudos to the Trtl team for your innovative products to improve our adventures!.  I had to fly about 16 hours to get there, and this made it so comfortable.

It took a little getting use to at first, but I can certainly say that it provided enough support for me to relax into a nap/light slumber while flying.   It seemed that I slept more often and with greater ease than I ever have with a standard 'C' shaped neck pillow.   It may not work for everyone, but I am glad that I gave it a try.   It will be coming with me the next time I take to the skies. These 13"x18" toddler pillows are perfect size for toddlers as well as for adults as travel and lap pillows, at least that is what we use them for.

I ran to the gate, arriving at C13 just 10 minutes before departure that Thanksgiving day.   “I am sorry Ma'am, but we have already closed the aircraft door.   You are too late. I awoke with a start in the airport lounge. ”A short, dejected walk across the terminal to United customer service found me in front of yet another surly airport employee.   He acknowledged my request for help finding another flight with a monosyllabic grunt and a clacking of keyboards. Next to me, another agent chatted casually with a friend.   A man ran up to the counter, interrupting their conversation, declaring he had an emergency and needed to get on a flight within the next hour.   The agent told him he could get back in line, and she would finish her conversation thankyouverymuch.   What time was it? Crap! Only 15 minutes until my flight departed. I was told there was no way I was getting to Oregon that day. In the end, I have to give the Trtl Pillow 5 stars for comfort.   I can not believe I fell asleep so quickly and deeply that I managed to miss my flight departing mere meters away.   I recommend not beginning use of the Trtl until safely on your flight.   I like that it supports your head in any direction you choose and can easily be shifted to meet your comfort needs.

I find the regular  ;u ; shaped pillows tend to tilt my head forward a bit and I can never figure out how to use them comfortably. I honestly love this pillow.  This one does not have that problem.  I have found multiple positions to use this in and every one has been comfortable and let me sleep.  I get a lot of funny looks when I use it but it works so well that I do not care.   However I think the deluxe version has addressed that and is adjustable to fit different heights.

This included a 4 hr car ride and 4. 5 hr train ride.  It kept my neck upright and aligned.  I had no pinched nerves!It also helped when traveling with others who are or are not aware of their body odor. At first I was a little skeptical about the pillow & it is comfort, but after traveling from Alaska to Germany & many inter-European flights & back to Alaska the pillow served me well.  The trick is to insert a piece of cloth with some essential oil or your favorite perfume into the brace sleeve at least 12 hrs to allow the fragrance to be absorbed by the pillow and dissipate a little, use the pillow as instructed, and pull excess cloth over your nose.  Wallah! Instant odor shield!I love this pillow so much they I plan to use it often at home!.  It is not as cushy comfortable as some other pillows I have tried but the space and weight savings are worth the compromise for me.

I will travel everywhere with this from now on.  I purchased the Trtl Pillow in anticipation of a 10+ hour flight this fall.

I bought this from  a few years ago for air travel, but I did not have any flights after that.  Instead I am sitting up in our sofa, with TURTL pillow holding my head at a comfortable angle.  I am actually getting sleep, which is a blessing.  I strongly recommend the TURTL pillow!. It is very convenient to travel and easy to cary.

I had bought a different one and that was so uncomfortable! Compared to this brand?? This is by far the best one I have used.  Great support and super soft.  Buy it!.  It is very compact and fits in a small purse.

I have used other neck pillows and this one is most versatile and most comfortable.   You will not be disappointed.  Used my Trtl on a 4 hour car ride and it saved me from days of post-trip neckache.

The traditional C shaped pillows never really fit right, I mean they worked but not great. I have use other travel pillow in the past and was never really that impressed with them.  I has seen the many good reviews of this product so I gave it a try.  Now I have not been on a plane since getting this but it is so cozy when wearing it.  It can be placed over the lateral neck as well as under the chin depending on how you sleep.  I am very happy. Very softMy husband uses it for his RA.

It worked wonderfully as a travel pillow.  In addition, I gave one to my elderly mom, who suffers from severe neck pain and stiffness, and it is so helpful and comfortable that she uses it almost every evening to provide support.   It could be marketed for health care as well as travel.  All around, an awesome product!.  Plus, it was a helpful layer when the plane got really cold.

One of the biggest benefits of this travel pillow compared to the normal bulky toilet seat shaped ones, is the fact that this is very portable.  its about the size of an iPad and weighs close to nothing. The material is very soft, and the memory foam on the support side of the pillow is extra comfortable.  It does take sometime to get used to it though since it has to actually wrap around your neck for the support to stay in place. Nonetheless, it is worth a try on your next vacation!.  I highly recommend.

Was not sure when this arrived how practical it would be.  The shape was different, you used it differently, and it just looked different.  I sat down on my couch with it and figured out how to put it on, adjusted it a little, and all was made clear.  This goofy looking pillow was a little piece of travel heaven! Took it on my next international flight and slept like a baby.  For the first time ever!! Love.  My.  The pillows just felt like it pushed my neck forward and was very awkward.

This neck pillow is amazing! Once you get it in a spot that works best for you, it is perfect! I slept a solid 7 hours on a flight from LA to Dublin thanks to this pillow and a ohderii Foot Rest, Portable Travel Footrest.  The fleece could probably get a little warm, but I just kept my air vent turned on and was honestly asleep too soon to think about it much.  Super pleased with this purchase!. They are the perfect size for travelers.

Perfect for my two year old's toddler bed! He loves it because it is so “cozy”!.   Definitely recommend it.

Great product.  Very comfortable and the flexibility gives you many options for finding your own perfect resting spot.  it is not bulk, it is light, and my only criticism would be that it seems like it can be bent slightly if you are not careful, but otherwise it may be too rigid, I do not know.

When it was time to sleep, I added my eye mask to the ensemble, and I was in my own little cocoon.  We all know that coach seats are not the greatest, and the comfort achieved by the recline is laughable, but with this pillow supporting my head, I was finally able to sleep on an airplane! Also important to note, the velcro used on the Trtl did not catch on my hair or my clothes.  It only sticks to what it is supposed to! The Trtl is also extremely easy to carry on by just wrapping the scarf portion around my carry on bag strap and attaching the velcro.  It does not seem like it would be very supportive when looking at it, but it made my international flight the most comfortable one I have been on! It is extremely adjustable regarding positioning, the fabric is so soft, and I kept the scarf portion over my face  up to my eyes  nearly the entire flight so that I could cover the mask I was wearing to ward off germs  yes, I am that person .  It is sturdy, well made, and will be the only pillow I travel with from now on.  I am so very pleased with this pillow!!. Very versatile, shapes easily and easy to clean.

It will take you practice to position it such that your head is naturally supported and you will probably have to wrap it a little tighter than you would like to keep it there.  But that said, this is the first time I have ever been able to sleep on a plane, so all of that was worth it. This takes some getting used to, im not going to lie.  Once you get it right, this wrap is comfortable and will let you sleep, unlike the countless other travel pillows I have tried.  If you, like me, have never found a travel pillow that works for you, give this one a try.  Great on planes or long car rides.

This material is so soft and cozy.  The inside frame that holds the head up, is flexible but strong enough to hold and then has padding around it as well for extra comfort.  This might not be great for hot climates, or summer travel, as the fleece material might be too warm and I am wondering if it is possible to get it in a lighter weight material  not that I need it because I am always cold anyway . I can not wait to use this on my next trip. It is pretty much impossible for me to sleep sitting on an airplane.

I just used this travel support pillow for the first time yesterday and found it to be very comfortable and useful. You do have to get it positioned just right and make sure it is wrapped firmly but it definitely does what it says it will and I slept comfortably on my flight.  The fleece is very soft and having to wrap your neck helps warm you up a bit   I always end up getting cold on flights so this was a bonus . Really helped me have a full sleep on my 6 hour plane ride to California and back! So glad I discovered this.

This pillow is very different from your standard travel pillow.  I like to position it pretty much in front of my face to avoid my head dropping to the front.  I take 3 to 5 flights a year and do a lot of long-distance road trips and this pillow has saved me from neck pain and poor sleep.  It is easy to wash too!. The product is as good as it described! The pillow is a nice design which prevents my head from kinking like traditional flight pillow.

Used this on a car trip where sleep was desperately needed and I have to say, this is worth every penny.  I have never had any luck with traditional neck pillows, they just never gave me the support my neck needed.  With this, it is secure and cozy enough to feel like you have a firm little pillow supporting your head! Turns out I had a defective product as the seams started to tear the minute I threw it in the washer, but I contacted customer service and they sent one out asap, just in time for my 7 hour flight.  Super satisfied.  I was able to sleep, of course not as comfortable as when you are lying down, but it bought me enough sleep, comfort, and neck support that I was able to get through 24 hours without losing my brains.

So convenient and compact! The pillow is super comfortable and kept my neck in the perfect position for my entire flight. What I really appreciated about the Trtl pillow was that was able to slip it in my backpack after a bus ride and carry it while I visited museums, monuments, and shops.

My husband was super skeptical about my TRTL but he took it on overseas trip and came back a huge fan - saying its the best travel pillow he's ever used.  I love that it supports my head while sleeping and my back while awake! Also great to be able to remove and wash cover to get rid of all the travel germs!.   I will update when she orders and begins using this pillow.

This is one of those rare cases where an item I purchased far surpassed my expectations.  I even used it as a pillow when i was able to lay across the three seats in my row.   Definitely recommend it. Love the flexibility! I use this when traveling as my regular pillow as most places have big uncomfortable pillows that kink my neck.

After ordering & trying a few different neck pillows without success, I tried this one.   I was on an over night red eye flight a month back and actually was able to sleep.   It is a little bulky to get wrapped around the neck, especially for someone with long hair but worth the effort once it is in place. Loved this travel 'scarf'  not sure I had call it a 'pillow' as there is no cushion to it  - it worked GREAT for me on an international flight.

This pillow is perfect for traveling plus more! Great for flying and perfect support to put behind a pillow.  The material itself is soft and I love how I can bend/twist it in many directions!. It took a bit to learn how to really make it work for me but by the time I was on my return trip this was a lifesaver.

I used it for a long air trip where 2 states crossed and it was awesome.  Very soft and comfortable, really helps with sleeping on air.  My sister even used it as additional cushioning when she got tired of siting in the seat and said it helped a lot.  I was amazed as my head did not bounce around and when I woke up, I was not stiff.
