Easy to use! I know cats can be difficult to put in these boxes but I like the top part coming off, it is a heck of a lot easier putting my cat in the box! Highly recommend!.  I really like the top door for easy loading.

My cat was extremely stressed out by carriers no matter how much we worked with him.  The key was this top door.  I left it open and he wanted to hang out in there just like it was any old cardboard box.  He's long and tall so this was very helpful because it is roomy.

I bought this for my new kitten and the two door design is perfect! Sometimes he will happily walk in the front of the kennel but having the top load option is great for when he does not want to go in on his own, especially when I am trying to get him back in the kennel after the vet.  I recommend it.

weight is 11lbs, with the 23inch max weight at 20lbs.  If you are in between getting either size, I suggest going off of those two max weights to decide which carrier will be best.  On the packaging, it notes that the 19inch max.  Putting the carrier together took me less than 15mins, and you can go off the pictures in the manual alone.  The carrier is reinforced with 6 screws in addition to the snaps on the side, so I have no worry about it falling apart while carrying it.  Overall, I am happy with my purchase, and would buy another if I had to.  .  I would highly recomend this carrier.

This pet kennel arrived in an extremely timely manner.   It is well-made, and a good size for my adult cat.   The front and top door openings make an especially stress-free cat ride.  I feel my cat is safe and do not have to worry about her escaping.

I have had this crate for about a year and it looks almost new.  It has held up wonderfully and is a great size.  I purchased the 23 inch size for my cat and it is plenty big enough.  She is a 9 lb cat and it provides tons of room for her to sprawl out.  You could probably fit a cat twice her size in this crate and it would still be big enough.  I can not recommend this crate enough!. Cats love it!  Can finally travel without getting sick or freaking out in the car.

It seems to be well made and functions well.  Assembly was simple and after several uses it seems to be a quality product. Perfect size, solid and practical for transporting my kitties.

This lightweight, yet sturdy, full-enclosure carrier was exactly what I needed to transport cats to the vet.   It shipped quickly, was well-packaged and excellent price.   It now sits on the back deck and kitties sleep in it when weather is nice.   Cleans up easily.   I would purchase from this vendor again. The crate was quick and simple to assemble.

The cage came with six bolts and nuts to semi-permanently  they could be removed in a few minutes with a phillips head screw driver , which I installed since I have no intention of using the quick detach latches on the sides.  The nuts fit into recessed areas so that you only need the screwdriver to install  no wrench to hold the nuts .  The open top door is especially nice when trying to load the cat -- much easier than pushing it into the front door.  Especially with a cat, I can not imagine walking it into the vet clinic and having the cage come apart.  However, the latches seem reasonably sturdy and easy to use.  Like with many plastic doohickeys, you may have to force the bolt holes together while pushing the bolts through.  The 23-inch version is the right size for our large cat.  This is not a design defect, but just a tip.  Last thing -- remember to place the front door in the proper orientation and in the hinge slots before bolting together.  Besides taking my cats to the vet, I also use them to transport quail.

My cat weighs about o9 pounds he has not freaked out I have taken him to the vet 2 times now and I feel with no worries I just recommend to not open the top hatch or just do not open it at  all with every open the hinges get weaker wich is a downside but you get what you pay.  At least until he realizes what I purchased it for.

I measured a canvas carrier with the slightly larger dimensions. This is smaller than I imagined it would be even though I measured.  The frame/structure of this adds to its overall dimensions so the resulting interior is pretty small.  Works great for a pair of foster kittens to and from shelter, though.   Perfect do any size cat or small dogs.

No issues.  Works well with both my kitten and my cat.  Fairly easy to assemble.  Very sturdy.  She absolutely hates getting in a carrier, but it is much easier putting her in one where I can put her in from the top.

We had a road trip and my daughter's pet guinea pig joined us.  He never weeped or squealed which is a good sign.  He had space for a small bowl of food  hay, vegetables and pellets , and we attached his water bottle to the front door of the cage.  The fact that the top opens helped a lot when it came to us getting settled into our hotel.  Then she removed the front door so that he could have a "hut" to sleep in. Overall, it is a great buy and her guinea pig likes to travel now.  I like that the top opens it makes it easier to put my dog in and convenient to check on her.

Cats had room to lay down comfortably. I was moving and needed to make sure that my cats were comfortable.   Although cats do not like being caged, these minimized their experience.   Great product.  We leave it out all the time for them and they will even play in it along with their other toys.

I highly recommend a top load kennel for those with pets who put up a fight going in.  I learned top load is the way to go when I had a rabbit and have not looked back since.  Having both choice is a must for me when buying a kennel.  This kennel is good for a cat up to 15 lbs maybe? Or a small dog, such as a chihuaha.  I bought the 23 inch size and it is perfect for my 1 yr old cat - use it to go to groomer and vet.

My vet actually said he loves this carrier.  I use the front gate to load my cat in.  My vet loves the top door to take him out.  Carrier is very sturdy, easy to use and an overall great value.   And the top open option is very handy for more skittish pets.

Hard crates are so expensive, but this one was not, and I am so pleased by the product for the value! The crate is easy to assemble, durable, and has a handy top door! It is been perfect for carting my foster kittens to and fro on their adoption-event excursions!.  Great sturdy product.

I love that there is a top door and a front door.  It makes lifting my cat out of the carrier, or doing things right within the carrier very easy.  I also love that the top and bottom attach by clips rather than bolts like some do. Really great travel carrier for my small kitty.  It makes taking it apart very easy and allows for quick storage.  My cat loves her crate and often climbs in to sleep in it during the day.  I do not believe a large cat would be suited in this carrier.  My cat is 5 pounds and fits perfectly.   Great product!  If you have cats that hate the crate.

Now I feel satisfied that I can carry my cat from place to place being he gets super scared and sometimes defecates this is easy to wash out and he actually likes climbing in it so we may not have an issue.  They arent huge, one of my cats is chubby and did not have a lot of room to turn around.

I bought this for our second cat who no longer fit comfortably in the kennel with our other cat.  They are not kittens anymore! She gets in this voluntarily, which is huge for a cat.  Also, the top door comes off.  It is been a good purchase for us!. It is a great carrier.

This is the best cat carrier I have ever bought.  The ability to be able to remove the top hatch to get them in and out instead of having to take it apart in two halves is just a great design feature. I like that you can open the top up.

I have two decent size rabbits   English Angora and a lion head/Californian mix" both about 8lbs.  They fit in this no problem even with a make shift hay feeder in the back. I had no issues with the top unlatching like many others have stated. The product itself is build well, everything fits together and only took about 5 minutes to bolt everything in place. There is no spaces where by bunnies can accidentally catch themselves and cause injury which is a huge must as they are smaller and easier to catch in air ventilation holes. Very roomie and the second door is a huge plus.

My cat is sneaky so I love that I can put her in and take her out through the top instead of trying to get her in the front hatch.   The other cat can be bribed with treats.  He's gullible.   Just make sure the top is on very securely before picking up the carrier!!Initial setup is challenging. I like it because it can load from the top.

It is good for the price, nothing fancy though.  I think it is fine to use for cats and small dogs, but I would not use it for heavier pets. Gifted to cats' family for a move.

We got this for our four pound chihuahua who's getting up there in age and can not always hold it while we are gone working if you know what I mean.  This has been an absolute dream though.  It was easy to assemble, and whenever he does make a mess it is easy to take apart and clean.  It is a pretty hard plastic so I would not recommend it without a small bed or blanket.  It does have little screws to put the top and bottom together if you plan on carrying it a lot.  We have mostly used it as a kennel. To take my 4 kittens to the vet to be fixed.

We bought the 19 inch kennel and our 11 lb cat fits in it, but can not stand up in it.  I do not think I would trust just the handle with an adult cat in it.  If I were to order again I would go with the larger size, however our cat does like the smaller one just fine. and.

Works as needed, and I really like the top-loading option.  When we got our kitten, she was nervous to come out of her crate when we first got her home.  I just popped open the top to let her see it was me trying to take her out and she was fine.  They are NOT fans of going into crates either.

Hi bought this carrier since the other one I had I realized was too small for my cat.   The only criticism I have of it is that when the cat is inside and I lift up the carrier, the weight of the cat causes the 2 tabs on top to pop up - instead of laying flat in the grooves.   The top door stays completely closed, however, so it is not really a problem. Fits both of our cats one who is about 7 lbs and our 15 lbs cat.

I have a kitten that is being neutered next week.   I put it out for her to get used to and my two senior citizen cats love to sleep in it.   Little did I know how much my cats would love this.   I got the big one and all three cats individually love curling up in it and sleeping. I also bought the little sheepskin mat that goes inside.   They go inside to the very back and curl up.   I am so glad I bought this. .  I use the front gate to load my cat in.

I was not sure which size to get but went with the 23 ; based on other reviews.  I am glad I did, I think it is the perfect size for a cat to stretch out and sleep in. I will be adopting a cat tomorrow so I purchased this carrier to get her home and double as a bed. I took a gamble on the cushion.  I was not sure which size to get but the 22 ; one fit perfectly. I read a review where someone said you needed needle nose pliers to hold the nut while screwing the thing together.  That may have been true at one time but as you can see from the photo the slot for the nut is shaped as the nut to keep it from spinning.  Assembly was quick and painless.  This held a 13 lb and 12 lb cat comfortably, but I would not recommend it for a long distance travel as they were pretty close.

If you have a small cat or kitten, this is a great size.  If you have a larger cat  10+ lbs  you would not want one this small.  It is sturdy for my cat.

Very sturdy ,my cat travelled from NY to Houston in it.  I still use it to bring him to the vet.  The top opening makes it easy to access the prt without taking him out.   Now she sleeps here all night, fit her bed and blanket in no problem.

This a great carrier.  It is easier to get my cat in through the top other than the door in front.  I like having the option of 2 entry points.  Each cat weighs a little over 12lbs and they fit fine with room to spare.

I do not believe you can find one that is better than this one.  Is has a top door and a front door.  It is a nice crate that will keep pets safe in the car.

Kitty LOVES!! If it fits, I sits.  It is very sturdy, easy enough to operate both openings.  I am using a 12X18 inches small dolly from Harbor Freight to sit the carrier on secured with bungee cords for rolling right along and for bottom support when lifting into vehicle.

Nice smooth edges.  Overall strong but not too heavy. This is such a great value.  Only issue is the top latch seems kind of difficult to open. or Im just not doing it right.  Even without top opening, this is a great kennel for traveling fur babies!..

Nice cage for the money.  It makes it nice because we use it for the cat and to get them comfortable it is nice to have the two openings so he does not feel threatened and it is easier so if he does not want to come out you can open the top and do not have to reach all the way in the back.  Usually if you open the top and the front he will just come out the top anyway because it feels more open. I want another love this.

Needless to say she still was not happy about it, but I had no issues getting the top locked securely, and carrying her by the handle in it.   No signs of it opening by accident, seems pretty sturdy. Have only used this once so far, but the top has stayed completely secure and made loading a particularly difficult cat to get into a carrier MUCH easier.   Not something I need often, but worth every penny for the added space and the convenience of the top door.   Perhaps it would not feel as sturdy if it were used on an animal that was closer to the weight limit, but for her it is perfect.  My cat was not able to come out even though she tried many times.

A sturdy crate that has four snap-locks  2 per side  plus screws and nuts to further secure the top to the bottom.   The front wire gate will swing open LH or RH and can easily be swapped based on your preference.   The top load door is already in place and is simple to operate,  also LH or RH .   Just make sure the slides are set properly before lifting your pet.   We got ours with the add-on cushion which fits nicely.  This is not a design defect, but just a tip.

I know that there is no way a cat could accidentally push through the front of it.   The top door is especially handy when you are trying to put your pet into the carrier, instead of having to try to push them through the front opening.   Very good quality and will last a cat's lifetime, at a minimum. Sturdy build allows for easy transport of your pet.

Opening the top and putting your pet into the kennel from the top works great! The way the top opens will take a little getting used too since it is kind of confusing at first. I really like that the top of this kennel opens! Most of these type kennels only open in the front, which can sometimes make it harder to get your pet into the kennel.  The rest of the construction seems to be pretty good quality.  I would recommend this kennel to anyone who needs a kennel for their small dog or cat.  Would make a great travel carrier too!.  The only down side is that it is large and difficult to store out of the way, but that can not be helped.

We replaced our front load only carrier with this one, and it makes getting kitties to the vet much easier.   They are lightweight but sturdy.

This kennel is great for transporting our cat.  I like that we can load him in the top instead of cramming him in the door.  I with the handle felt sturdier, we run a bungee around it so the top does not fly open. Nice quality for the price has held up well and is a good size for cats and small dogs.

We have not had any issues with it.  We do not use it as much but the kittens are pretty ok with it.  It is spacious and the top flap works well.  We usually carry both our kittens in it which adds up to more than 10 pounds and have not had any of the problems mentioned on some of the reviews.   Very sturdy and well made.

I love the top loading feature. Comfy size for my 10+ pound fluffy cat.  I like that it has the four latches AND six metal screws to hold the top and bottom together.  My last carrier just had four plastic screws and I held my hand under it because I was always worried it was going to bust apart.  This is so much more secure. It did take me a while to figure out how to get the screws on.  I even put a cat bed in it  not a crate bed/pad  with him and he still had plenty of space. the bottom has a tight space that the nut fits in and I was trying to put the screw through the hole and then twist on the nut, but it was too hard to get in that small space.  I finally figured out that you put the nut in the slot, then twist the screw into place. . Love the top opening.

We bought this to hold our 2 cats for a move and it worked great! Love the lid on the top.  It was easy to use.   we had in a bigger size to grow with our dog.

This was the second one I received, the first shipped last week had a hinge missing.  I returned that one and got another.  This kennel, when put together, is pretty nice.  I would recommend either buying a strap or carrying from bottom as the handle is located on the top door which if held just right quick releases leaving everyone exposed to potential terror.

He is average cat size. I have a three year old short haired black cat.  I keep a blanket in there for him so he is comfortable and still has room.  Perfect for trips to the vet!.   Like the two doors.

My veterinarian commented on what an amazing case this was - and I assume she is seen a lot of them.   It is a great design!.   I wish I could get a model without the door on the top.

very nice! If you have a very overweight cat, this may not be for you because the top opening would bend and possibly break.  I had a young cat in it while I was carrying it and I already noticed it very slightly bending. I love my carrier!  I can easily put my cat in.

For a basic pet carrier this one is a great value.  While the top is not quick and easy access  compared to some other designs , for the occasional need to get in through the top it will be fine.

I especially like that the top screws to the bottom and I do not have to worry about simple clips coming unclipped and my cat escaping.  The shell of the carrier is very firm and robust.  I also like the door in the top that is secure to lock.  I am very happy with this purchase and I would recommend this carrier to anyone. it served its purpose for my young cat - a little too small for a large cat.

This carrier is great quality and the perfect size for my 5lb kitty.  She will get bigger and i think she will still feel fine in it.  The top opening is great for pulling her out from above when she is scared at the vet's office.   Great construction and value for the price.

Can be opened from the front or top and can be taken apart for easy cleaning.  It has a handle on top for easy carrying plus you can loop a seatbelt through it to keep the crate secure in the car while traveling.  We also bought the little plastic food and water container that attaches to the door. Perfect size, solid and practical for transporting my kitties.

This is just the right size for the money everywhere else I looked for a carrier this size was 30+ dollars. We got this with the matching bed and my cat loves it so much I had to take the door off so she could use it as a bed!  I purchased a shoulder strap so I could carry her and push a stroller or wrangle a toddler when I needed to and it works great.

I have cats, who are not the easiest when it comes to vet visits.  With the top load and front load openings I have options as well as the easy snap off top half. I love this style of design for pet crates.  I put it together with no problem  well, I had the door backwards at first but that was on me  in less than 10 minutes.  Well worth the money. Love this!! I ordered this to ship a pair of parrots by airline.   It was easy to drill a hole to add a perch.   I love that it had the opening at the top as well as the door at the front.   It made it easier to load them up.   I covered the front gate after they were in to minimize their stress as well as once again to protect them from well meaning people.  I also ziptied all doors, which may not have been necessary but it made me feel better.   Even with an airline mishap the birds were safe and secure in this crate and appeared to have no stress when removed. I.

I had a little problem with installing the door, but that was my fault because I missed a step in the assembly directions.  Good quality for the money.  I recommend it. This is a much nicer, heavier dog carrier than I expected and I am very pleased with it.

If you have a chunky cat you might want to go to the next size up. Love the top opening.

It is a great little pet carrier.  I bought the 23inch for my cat.  It is on the larger end of cat-sized crates, as I wanted her to have a little extra room when traveling.  For pets that are nervous at the vet's office or hesitant to come out of the crate, lifting them from the top is significantly less stressful than trying to pull them out the front.  The 23inch size is most appropriate for medium-large cats and small breed dogs.  For dogs, I would not recommend larger than 10lbs, as they tend to have less maneuverability than cats. This pet kennel arrived in an extremely timely manner.

This carrier has been good for me and my cat.  He has room to get comfortable while traveling with us.  It is easy to clean.  The only thing that I think would make it better is if it had small storage spaces like my old one had on the top. Put my cat in here and he disowned me.

The whole top part comes off easily if needed, just undo the clips.  The top door is an added bonus, gets the cats in easily if they are being difficult.  I use it to carry my adult cats, both weigh about 10-12 pounds.  The front door is very big and inviting to my cats  most of the time .  The top door also latches in very tight and there is no way it will come open if you latch it correctly.  Anyone who had the top door open on them when carrying their pets either had a defective door, or the latched it incorrectly.  My Vet was even impressed with the carrier when my one cat had to stay over at the Vets for a few days. Best pet carrier I have ever owned.  Also my one cat sleeps in it all the time, she loves it.  Great buy, good price. Crate works great for my small puppy.

I bought this for my kitten to go to vet visits but with the size I got I do not think he will fit in it forever.  If you have a larger cat or even a small dog I definitely recommend getting a larger size.  The carrier is pretty easy to assemble, and feels much more solid than her old cat carrier.

We bought one and liked it so much we bought a second.   Since we take cats for adoption events every other weekend little things like the ease of top loading make a big difference when loading up for an event. I like it, but I am always afraid that the top opening is not secure enough to carry by the handle.

Although my cat hates being in the kennel, the top loading door is a lifesaver for when she puts up a bit of a fight.  She is a very small cat, so she can curl up perfectly in it. I love this carrier, good price, solid construction, ease of use  the two entry methods are great for cats , and easy to assemble.

great cage, easy to use and access.  Much cheaper than a lot of the other ones yet of a very nice and sturdy build.  I had get it again.   The top door stays completely closed, however, so it is not really a problem.

I needed a big carrier for a humongous tomcat.   He had a huge head on a strong neck.   He did not come through the top but I held it.   That very top opening though is what let me put him in the carrier without dumping him in. Very easy to assemble and the lid opening gives easier access for scared pets.

we bought this product for both our small dog and two cats while going to vet visits, grooming, and traveling.  it works perfectly and i love that it has a top opening as well because one of our cats will not go inside of it through the normal front door.  its also very sturdy and our animals have not found a way to get out of them..

I love this product because it is safe secure and a seatbelt fit through the handle so it does not move around I take my fur baby everywhere in it.   It is a great little box and my chihuahua loves to sleep in it.

The weight makes it easier to carry you speak and the front or top door makes it easier to get them in or out.  She is a very small cat, so she can curl up perfectly in it.

I bought two, one for each cat.  The price is very nice.  This is a sturdy pet carrier.  Be sure to screw in all the screws and add the bolts. This worked for my two 16-pound cats.  I read the reviews about this carrier falling apart while pets were inside, but mine are very sturdy.  This is some self-assembly required.  This fit perfectly.

Got this for 2 new kitties I brought home.  It is delivered in two pieces, just a couple bolts and 2 minutes of my time to put it together.  Easy peasy.  Kitties traveled well in it. Sturdy enough to hold both my cats they weight about 7-9 pounds each.

Just bought this for one of my cats and had such a great experience with taking her to the vet that I just ordered a second one for my other cat,  who happens to be chonky boy . I had not seen the 1 star reviews but it actually looks like the design issue was fixed and there is an extra clip function they added to the top lid to keep it secured. Nice size for a small puppy and easy to clean.

This is a good size for our 14 pound cat, and I am able to put his little bed inside.  We use it to go back and forth to the vet.  I bought it because it had a top entry, which I am able to use by myself, but it is an interesting/different  closure device that you might want to practice with first if your pet is quick to try to escape!.   I did not have a problem with carrying it from the top as others stated.

This carrier is perfect for a single cat.   We purchased this as an option for when only a single cat needs to be taken to the vet rather than taking the larger carrier that we use for taking two cats together.   The fact that the top opens in either direction so easily is a huge bonus for us.  They freak out when we have to crate them to the vet.

I love the top opening feature! When I use it for my small bunnies it works great, but when I use it for my large cat I support the bottom because I feel like there is strain on the top.  It has never malfunctioned,  but I just worry about the weight.  It is super easy to get my pets out of because of the top opening. This was a great carrier for our pup; just the right size; the upper access was great when we were traveling; gave them an  ;open air ; feeling without sacrificing safety.

My cat could get out of the soft cloth zipper ones so I tried this one out.   Very well made and he even goes inside to sleep in it occasionally.  I found it easy to assemble and easy to carry.

My cats is much easier to get out at the vets and comfortable for one of them at a time.  My 18 1/2 year old boyo is much easier to get out instead of trying to pull him out and hurting him in the process because he is old and arthritic and his kidneys are starting to fail, plus he will lay in it while waiting for the vet.  My young boyo just wants to get out and explore.  So this works well for us and our kitty boys.  Vary spacious and well made.

The reviews stating top hatch comes open may be correct but i dont think this was designed to be lifted by the handle on latch while weight of animal is inside, this is what the outer hooks are for.  I hooked up a strap to the outer hooks therefore eliminating the downward weight on handle/top door.  This is easy to assemble and very nice quality for price. It kept my cat calm & happy on his trip to the vet.

It was easier to get the cat in the top instead of through the front door.   I finally got him to the vet.   I prefer the 23” for her.

Good Kennel.  The top load feature helped me get my cat to where he needed to go much easier than trying to get him into a front loader.  The added security with the nuts and bolts is very nice, and overall this is a straight forward, functional product. I bought this for my new kitten and the two door design is perfect! Sometimes he will happily walk in the front of the kennel but having the top load option is great for when he does not want to go in on his own, especially when I am trying to get him back in the kennel after the vet.

Wonderful carrier for a cat.  I could load my pet into the top of the container which is so very much easier than trying to put them in through the front door.  The carrier was spacious enough for my cat to lay down and feel calm enough to calmly enjoy the journey to our destination. I needed a sturdy carrier because her vet is 3 hours away, and this did great.  Way better than the soft ones they they chew up! Also safer if you are in an accident.  I was able to buckle this in the backseat on the way, and open the top off to check on her.  Great investment. my 9 week old kitten did not mind it one bit.

it came early! had to put them together, should work well for our cats trips to vet.  seam heavy well bilt.  I do put a towel inside so it is softer for her.

We bought this pet carrier to corral our rambunctious kitten, Oliver, when he was about 3 months old.  He slept in it nightly until he was about 5 months old and developed more nocturnal tendencies.  I love the box - it is sturdy but lightweight, and surprisingly roomy.  It will get a real test run as we use it to take Oliver to the vet later this week for vaccinations and neutering.  I do not expect any problems.  She is a very small cat, so she can curl up perfectly in it.

I was getting ready to move with two cats who have given me trouble in the past with traditional carriers.   I bought these about a month in advance so I could get the cats acclimated.  On cats' moving day, I had both access points open, put a little catnip in the bottom, and waited for cat #1 to investigate.   Once she was in, I closed both doors, holding one shut with my leg while I finagled the top one.   Cat #2 was suspicious of my trickery but seemingly understood my words.   I secured the front door and just dropped him in via the top door.   Easy Peasy. TLDR; Worth every penny. Good carrier.

This is a really good pet carrier.  I really like that you can take the lid completely off  if you do not use the included screws as instructed .  That worked really well in taking my kittens to the vet. Great pet carrier.

Its excellent.  It was easy to put together.  I leave the door open, and my cat voluntarily sleeps in it close to the window.  She likes the comfort of being protected and still gets some sun on herself. I purchased the 23", for the price with free shipping it works great! I also purchased the 22" MidWest Deluxe Bolster Pet Bed, it fits like a glove! Our Leo approved!. Or it would if I did not have a Savannah Cat who absolutely REFUSES to be contained!! For my other kitty it is a good fit and top load is easy.

I use it to keep my kitten contained and to sleep in and he really small so we put toys in there so he can play while we are away or sleeping but he can reach his paw thru where the lock is and it might get stuck but he small so just in case he does get stuck. Definitely worth the money compared to PetCo or similar.

I got two of these for my cats, and am very pleased with them.   They are lightweight but sturdy.   They were very easy to assemble.  Also, the little escape artist has not figured out how to get out of this one.

Great item at a Basics cost.   I did find that the hinged top could potentially open unintentionally  the locking clips seem to want to work themselves loose , though this has never happened to me.   Nevertheless, I did use some duct tape to secure the locking clips in place, just for safety's sake. Our cat likes it so well he sleeps in it when it is sitting at home.

I got this to shuttle around 5 three-month-old kittens weighing appx 3. 5 lbs.  It worked very well.  They wiggled and slept and stuck their paws out any hole they could.  They were quite happy and comfy.  I have used it for my adult cats  one at a time  and they have plenty of room too.  It is very well made and I felt very secure transporting the cats.  I love that it has the front or top load option.  I think this is going to last many years.  I bought the 23inch for my cat.

Screws are a bit difficult when assembling because they are secured by bolts. Our little dog loves this crate.  I would have preferred wing nuts instead since they are a bit more secure from turning and coming accidently lose.  Overall a great product though.  You can not go wrong here.

I dislike carrying cats in my arms.  I used this to carry cats not in my arms.  This does a good job of carrying cats not in my arms.  ESPECIALLY when someone pulls the alarm at my condo and the cats are displeased about having to leave in all the chaos.  Better than the cardboard ones you get at the vets. Very sturdy ,my cat travelled from NY to Houston in it.

This carrier is awesome.  Its sturdy, beautifully designed, I love how you can open from the side or the top.  The top opening would make it so much easier to reach down to get your pet.  Plenty of holes for ventilation.  My granddaughter just got a bunny and needed something to put the bunny in when she is cleaning its cage.  you could add a strap if you wanted to.  The price is right too!! What more could you ask for.  It is perfect!. One of my cats is a pain in the butt to get into a carrier, and this top-load carrier is perfect!  It makes it so much less stressful for all involved!.

I bought this cage and was a little weary with the video that one of the past costumers posted concerning the lock mechanism on the lid but mine worked perfectly, not sure if he had a defective one or what his issue was.  I bought mine to small so had to return for the next size up.  -so ya, would for sure buy again!!. It is nicely made and locks up your animal really secure.

This extra small crate is perfect for my tiny Chihuahua puppy, Kili.   It is easy to open from the latch on the front as well as the two latches on top.   Kili prefers her soft sided carrier for travel to the vet, and her wire crate  for sleeping.   I am not sure how I will use this nice little crate. perhaps for carrying my 12 or 15 pound cats to the vet. .  Good for cats since they are hard to put more than one cat per box.

Easy to assemble.   top clips onto bottom, but additional metal screws and nuts ensure the top and bottom stay together.   It was not clear to me in the instructions that once you install the top door, you only undo one side to open it back up - the other side acts as a hinge.    Good product for the price. Perfect size for my Morkie!!! Also love the double doors! Just got a cat a few weeks ago.  When I went to get him, I had bought a soft carrier.  It was difficult to get him in it, as he did not want to be confined.  Since I planned taking him to the vet to get checked out, I knew I needed something better.  This was PERFECT! The top loading feature made it quick to load him into the carrier two times.  Nicely priced too. great cage, easy to use and access.

Nice and roomy, but not too bulky or hard to carry. I would recommend to use a wrench to assemble it.

Very easy to put together.  Plenty of room for my 18 lb cat.  Held up well traveling. Dropping a resistant pet from the top opening is SO much easier and less stressful than trying to stuff a scared pet into the front door.

Good quality and very convenient since it has two doors one on the top and the main you can see on the picture.   Both doors are easy and secure to open and close.  It is roomy for a small or median dog and cat. Went together quickly.

I am a big fan of  basics.   This item is very sturdy and secure.   It has latches and also screws and bolts keeping the top and bottom together.   No worries about it opening up on its own.   It can easily be taken part for travel purposes.  I love how the top opens up to easily put your pet in.   We got the 19 inch which fits a small dog or a small to med sized cat. Just be enough for my 10lb cat - and small enough to store easily and transport my cat without being bulky or difficult to carry.

I have yet to use it to take Simon mu cat to groomer for nail clipping but it seems very sturdy. First time pet owner and got this to bring our new cat home.

My cats hate the crates and fight me every time I try to put them in.   This one is great due to the top loading feature.   I like the top door to somewhat surprise a uncooperative cat.

This cat carrier worked out very well, a little small for my larger cat, so I will order a larger carrier in the future.   Was very easy to assemble and I like the opening at the top. Simple and easy for our cat smokey.

Good for a kitten.  too small for a large cat though. Perfect size, solid and practical for transporting my kitties.

we like it and kitty often naps in it even when she is not traveling.   She likes to play with the door and tires of that and falls asleep inside, so for her it is a trinket, a bed and a travel carrier. . hes 16 pounds and it worked wonderfully getting him to and from the vet.

VERY GOOD PET CARRIER.  OUR 4 MONTH OLD PUP LOVES SLEEPING IN IT. I have had these for about a year and I do not know how they stand up for frequent uses, but for the occasional vet or travel use these have held up amazingly.

Just what we needed for the cat when shes scared.  A blanket in the bottom and she has a cave when we have to bring her in. Love the door option on the top of the crate, makes it so much easier to put your pet inside.
